@ Hono, and Dead Forest Peeps:
My computer is acting up; at first I couldn't even get it to boot up, but now that I crossed that bridge, I think my video card has ALSO gone bad. I'm on the laptop now, but with the thunderstorming going on outside, I won't be on after this post.
I'll post to both the Dead Forest, and with FtR + Rae storming Eden, later. I dunno how much later, unfortunately.

meta from the term Meta-human.... witch I still do not really understand, I mean, I knew what a meta-human was from watching cartoons, but I really wonder where the term came from because metaphysics was definitely not in the dictionary when I was a kid sweatdrop *thanks god for that save from spelling test failure* xp

Hono. It's actually a term coined from metaphysical and the likes. Back when planar psionics and the likes were in use. Then it was used for those people, but as that died down meta was created to include all that was supernatural. Thus, a meta is something with supernatural powers aka magic. Anything that a normal human cannot do for the most part.

I just consider a meta anyone with intrinsic non-human abilities. Cyborg arms are not because that's not natural, it's implanted. Someone who casts a fireball by doodling up symbols and using components in a set system I wouldn't call a meta. Some who just can throw fireballs or perform inhuman feats I'd call meta.
Of course, most Gaians are by that definition, and I'm fine with metahumans. There just seems to be an increasing number of characters who notice that there are metas- though Kael isn't so much a hater at least, so much as a bit wary/suspicious of them.

Dzan is a meta-hater because of one major thing.
He follows a rule to himself. Humanity must not be tainted. A meta is a taint in his eyes.
That and his "religion" is like that of Warhammer 40k. So, the xeno, mutant, and heretic are all to be killed in his eyes. Thus a meta falls under a mutant to a degree. Though, even he understands some metas are to be allowed. Kinda like psykers and astropaths in the Warhammer 40k universe.

@Josh: But what about the whole heaven/hell/soul recylcing system(including separate places according to the different believes) you came up together with Max?? I mean, there you've got yer God....'n angels...and stuff.
But then again, your characters still don't really believe in it I guess hehe.
