Oh yeah, I thought you were referring to Shizue. and wow, nice twist, I did not expect for Koori to actually pull that. Though she conveninetly ended up choosing fire to use on Uriel, and he is an Elemental of the fire, so he would simply absorb it. Which I guess it went better than I thought, my whole point of getting the bootyful guys to hassle shizue was to get Koori to become irritated and join the battle instead of trying to egg on Xiaeriene from the sidelines. But, I plan on Xiaeriene getting severely wounded toward the end of this battle, I want to have her more or less intentionally get hit. I'll have to wait and see though, for Vain, I was thinking either being a distraction while asuka charges up a Shadow Flare, then getting hit by it knowingly while being the decoy. Or perhaps stopping a blast or so from Kyros to protect Koori(That would be the biggest slap in the face to Koori, if Xiaeriene risked her life to take a bullet for Koori)

That really wouldn't be. To her it would be just desserts. She has a set of morals you know. When I go more into her past, you'll find out why she decided to jump in.

Possibly because she despises Xiaeriene to the point where she wants first dibs on beating Xiaeriene, and so Kyros has to get in line?I kinda see a bit of that.

Asuka doesn't actually know Shadow Flare, the closest thing she has to it would be her Ultima, which is like half Shadow Flare, and half of one of Elise's spells. Though, with the techniques she does know, it's logical for that to happen, as though her ammount of energy is higher then Vain's, in comparison, she has far less control then Vain.
And I want to rap the fight up within a few more posts anyways, it's getting a bit too dragged out for just a brawl. I plan on having Jagen show up and putting the restraints back on Kyros, and them head back for the BSN.
As for the whole topic of weight, training, and all that, the main issue is we're in the day and age of the gun. You dont need to train your body to pull a trigger. A person walks down a street with some heat on him, and feels invicible. And in an altercation, it comes down to who can shot first and make their mark. Where as, in the age of true warriors, when your body needed to be in top shape, and you had to be a skilled fighter to make it in life, are mostly gone from this world. I believe this line from Hagakure sums it up best:
"It is said that what is called the Spirit of an Age is something to which one cannot return. That this spirit gradually dissipates is due to the world's coming to an end. In the same way, a single year does not have just spring or summer. A single day, too, is the same. For this reason, although one would like to change today's world back to the spirit of one hundred years or more ago, it cannot be done. Thus it is important to make the best out of every generation."

The army and marines use a combination of both. For close range combat; their hand to hand book was co-authored by one of the most famous Hawaiian martial artists. Founder of Danzan Ryu Jujutsu. It incorporates hundreds of elements from the martial arts styles from all around the world. But a good 80% is all traditional Judo and Jujutsu.

I dunno why we always come back to the debate, but it's like a common topic here.
And didn't know that before Ryu.

Semester before last, the one I ******** up, I was in a group who did our final project on it. Guy who made it was also Teddy Roosevelt's masseuse.
Yeah, he did that really freaking fast. If I was just released from an evil demonic sword, that's the last thing I would do. I would do several other things first, one making sure "everything was good". Meaning nothing popped that shouldn't be. Mind you thinking as though I was a woman here. Then I'd go for some kick a** cake!

Now that is an extremely random fact O.O
Speaking of random, I was having a debate with myself not too long ago. Cookies. What exactly is it that defines a cookie? Like, we got the basic cookie: a small flat, circular treat made out of various things, some times oatmeal, sometimes gingerbread style, ect... then we have like my mom and I do, 'no bake' cookies, where you boil chocolate, add oatmeal and penut butter, and let it cool in individual things (we usually put them in muffin papers) and eat after they're chilled.
Now, with such a degree of change and ways of making a cookie, just what exactly is it that defines a cookie as a cookie.
Riddle me this: if I try to bake cookies, with pancake mix, once they were done, would they be baked pancakes, or cookies just made with pancake mix?

Haru has been taken out of the RP. He will not be showing up again for a while, if at all.

Onto the cookie debate. It's a small round flat cake. So says Wikipedia. They're best served with pwn and icing or cream. Kinda like...

Ah, so following that description of what makes a cookie, one could say that a pancake, was indeed a cookie.

Correct my stupidity; the reference of I, is it an Anon reference, or just some math reference?
