maenad nuri I had a student ask me, while I was helping him go over the notes on the Scientific Method, if I knew any witches. I said, "of course I do!" ~chuckles~

I started this college semester fearing for my GPA due to my Music class (I never took anything but a Music Survey course in High School before this).
But I'm very, very happy now that I have stayed. It has brought new light to the way I listen to music anymore- which I was scared of at first, because I thought I wouldn't be able to thoroughly enjoy it and that I'd only hear A..B sharp...C... On top of that, I've gotten chillbumps while listening to a few pieces, something that happens when I feel particularly "in tune" with something, I guess you could say.
It made me wonder, is it a common occurance for the people in the guild to have personal religious/spiritual epiphanies while listening to music?

*groan* I think my subconscious hates me. Bad dreams suck. Rape dreams suck worse (even when you're fortunate enough not to witness the assault directly). *headdesk* I'm pretty sure my mood is shot for the day.

Grandma had her surgery. My cousin's girlfriend is pregnant and the girl is not well received in the family. I'm southbound on Saturday. My Uncle is home from overseas.
If my aunts don't haul the girl off and drown her somewhere- it should be a wonderful family reunion.

Out of all my dreams that I remember I have only had one of those one time. I wasn't the victim but it changed my mood for a good week, I was traumatized.

This weekend is my grandma's anniversary - she died 4 years ago - and my second sister's 21st. Grandma died on my sister's birthday so this weekend will be bittersweet for the sister in particular, and the family in general.

Todays timetable was double bio, double chemistry and then an hour free. Both classes were cancelled so I had 5 hours free. 0_o
In other news, I have a beasty amazon order due in a few days. Has anyone read 'the greek myths' by Rober graves? I've got both volumes coming.
