Icarus followed the vampire, wondering where they were going. Soon they came to a room, but the lights were off. She lost Jethrow in the dark, having favored t stay by the doors that had closed behind her. After a moment, the girl found the light switch and flicked it on.
Once the lights came on Sophia and everyone else jumped out as she confetti came down. "Surprise!"
Icarus jumped a little as everyone popped out of nowhere. She finally understood all the secrecy. This was a party. For her. The girl sniffled a little and bowed her head. Sophia grew a little concerned and went over to Icarus. "What's wrong, Icarus?" she asked, only for Icarus to raise her head, smiling, eyes welled up with tears.
"N-No one's ever done this for me before..."

After Icarus turned out to be happy they were throwing her a party, Benjamin came up behind her and wrapped her up in a huge hug. "Just saying welcome home," he told his best friend.

Icarus smiled and hugged Benjamin back. She wiped her eyes some to get rid of the tears, thanking them for putting all this together. She hadn't been to a party. Not even one for her birthday. So this meant a lot that people cared enough to do this for her.
Sophia smiled as well and got the music started, letting everyone get comfortable. She then got Icarus and herself plates of food, giving one to the girl before going to enjoy the party with Benjamin. She was bushed!

Someone had started playing music, so Benjamin took Sophia's hands and started twirling her around, distracting her from the rest of the party so she'd stop worrying about such things.
Jethrow was standing to the side, watching his Icarus happily. Parties weren't exactly his thing, but she looked so happy that a party was being thrown for her, that he'd stay there all night if he had to.
Sarah found herself snacking at the buffet table before finding herself standing by her cousin. "Go hang out with your girlfriend," she ordered, shoving him in the direction of Icarus.

Icarus was having a good time, talking with a few people. That is until she found Jethrow right at her side. He hadn't been there a moment ago... But she smiled and took his hand before hugging him. He had been in on it so he deserved at least a hug for his effort.
Sophia giggled some as Benjamin twirled her, her dress flowing with the spins. She smiled and nestled back up to Benjamin and giggled again. "Want to dance, my love?"

Benjamin smiled and put his hands on Sophia's waist, raising an eyebrow. "Maybe. Or maybe I just like seeing you dance..."
Jethrow hugged Icarus back and put an arm around her shoulder. He didn't scare anyone off as they came up to talk to Icarus, though from the looks of a few of the guys he almost did...

Sophia smiled and kissed Benjamin's cheek. "Then maybe I should dance for you sometime." she said with a playful giggle.
Icarus smiled and enjoyed her party, talking to a few guys who approached her. Once they went back to the party, she glanced to Jethrow and giggled. His protectiveness was showing again.

Benjamin grinned down at his French princess and tilted his head. "Maybe? Try most definitely."
Jethrow didn't think it was funny at all that these guys were clearly hitting on Icarus. There were plenty of available girls in the room. "What?" he asked Icarus as she giggled, frowning. Sarah, having watched this, came up to her cousin and bumped him. "They're just saying hello to her. Though you might wanna save some for the rest of us," Sarah teased, grinning at Icarus.

Sophia smiled and nodded some. "Well then maybe I'll wait until the right song to dance for my Spanish knight." she said a little playfully and nestled up to Benjamin.
Icarus laughed softly and nodded some, looking to Jethrow. "Your protectiveness is showing." she said before looking to Sarah. "They're all yours. I've got who I want." the nightingale purred and nestled into Jethrow's arms more and wrapping her arms around him to keep him close.

[OOC:] OH! the Spanish Knight thing got me thinking of something we could do after Icarus does her thing! Benjamin smiled and kept dancing with Sophia. The music had moved into a slow song, so there were a lot of couples together.
Jethrow narrowed his eyes at his cousin who walked off back to the food, before smiling at Icarus. "Sorry... I just don't like thieves."

Sophia smiled, enjoying the dancing until it moved into a slow song. She cuddled up to Benjamin and started to dance with him to this romantic song. The French girl sighed contently and wrapped her arms around Benjamin's neck.
Icarus laughed softly and hugged Jethrow. "Don't worry, Jethrow. Nothing can take me from you." she said, trying to sooth Jethrow's protective tensions. She didn't plan on going anywhere with anyone aside from Jethrow anytime soon.

[OOC:] We could do like an Arthurian legend thing! Maybe they all get accidentally sent back in time (again) but like someone thinks Sophia is Guinevere, Benjamin is Lancelot... Icarus could be the Lady of the Lake, Sarah could be Morgana... Jethrow could be Mordred maybe... I can't see him as King Arthur, though he would really freak out if people started calling him king... When the song stopped, Benjamin took Sophia's hand and led her to the food table. She'd worked so hard on the party, and he knew that he was starving, so she might be as well.
Jethrow smiled and hugged Icarus back. He knew that he didn't have to worry about Icarus, but that didn't mean he wouldn't anyways.

[OOC:] Hmm... I could see Icarus as Lady of the Lake... A very sassy, impatient one... XDD
Sophia smiled as they got to the food table and she grabbed a few little things to eat. The food was just perfect. The cooks in the kitchen had done such a great job. After eating a little, Sophia led Benjamin over to a couch and sat down with him. Her feet were starting to hurt and she wanted to cuddle her Spaniard.
Icarus nestled into Jethrow's arms and sighed contently. She knew he'd never stop worrying, but he could at least relax at the party. Like anyone would be dumb enough to ruin this day for Icarus. If someone did, the nightingale just might strangle them if they spoiled her good mood.

[OOC:] Oh! Jethrow could be Merlin. Someone else will be Arthur... And I can see Icarus being all: "THAT'S IT take your stupid sword, I'm DONE holding it out of the water!" Benjamin let Sophia drag him over to the couch, and he continued to eat off his plate while sitting there. He put an arm around the French girl's shoulders, letting her cuddle into his side.
Jethrow wasn't much one for parties, mostly because he hated almost all social interaction, but he wasn't going to mess with Icarus' good time, so he smiled and held her and as long as nobody came up to them, he was sure he'd be fine.

Sophia occasionally reached over to steal something off of Benjamin's plate, smiling some as she munched on his food. Soon, after Benjamin had found a good place to pause his eating, Sophia tugged on his arm, wanting to go dance again.
Icarus stood there with Jethrow for a while longer before looking up at him and gently taking his hand. "Maybe we could dance a little? For me?" she asked, wanting Jethrow to enjoy the party more. Heck maybe she'd dance for him.
[OOC:] And now I suddenly want to have Icarus breakdance...
