Des Voh I know what Gesalting is, I ment your character idea. Oh, the Halfling was going to be a cleric/rogue of the Halfling trickster goddess and would be a bit like robin hood. Pick pocket from the big folk to give to the small folk who need it. He would claim to be a priest of Yondalla to all the non-Halflings and would have a gypsy feel to hi. Dressing in brightly colored clothes, play the fiddle, etc. I've never played a pick pocket before so it could be fun.

Des Voh elvisnake This dark city concept intrigues me. Go on... Basically get the characters wrapped up in a story half told. Get a great big city, buslling with the Arcane, such a Dalaran, Silverymoon, Sharn, etc, but with a dark underbelly like you wouldnt imagine, throw in some diabolical beings from another dimension, the local Investigations, and the whole of the Underworld, and slap the party right in the middle of it all. In the city, you must fight to survive...He sold tortillas by the corner...

Thats why New Orleans is one of those "Visit, don't live" cities. Like New York and Miami.

Cale Darksun Thats why New Orleans is one of those "Visit, don't live" cities. Like New York and Miami. I live in PA still, everyone who cant afford to stay in New York come here, they keep building more low-income housing too. Anyway, back to the fun. So Johnny, I love your idea. I hope it works out better than mine did, I had a moon elf bard/cleric who had the same basic idea, but using Olidammara, instead of picking one cover religion, I masqueraded as many different orders from town to town. Guy was rich before the party left me to rot in a cell.

Cale Darksun *Blink blink* wait, who lives in New Orleans? I was supposed to move down there last year, but didn't, that may be your confusion. That was around the time I stopped showing up here.
