When he came back, Jethrow walked over to the bed and sat beside Icarus, wrapping an arm around her and leaning his head on hers. "Sorry 'bout that, Love."

Icarus nestle close to the vampire and relaxing a little. "What was all that about?" she asked, glancing up at Jethrow. Serah usually never disturbed them. No one did. So what was the big emergency that the nurse had come all the way to Icarus' room to pass on a message.

Jethrow shrugged, trying to come up with an excuse. "It was just something about covering for an assignment. She's taking someone's shift down in the medical wing, and she doesn't want to deal with a teacher."

Icarus nodded some and sighed a little. She was thankful that was all. And that Jethrow wasn't pursuing getting into her shirt. The dragon may have been successful due to surprise, but she didn't know if she could keep Jethrow out if he got lucky and did all the right things.

The dragons had migrated to the ground after the black dragon tackled the white one off the bed. Jethrow watched them for a bit, stroking Icarus' hair softly, the mood from earlier forgotten.

Icarus smiled some and relaxed as Jethrow stroked her hair. She nestled closer to the vampire while watching the dragons play and scamper around her room. The white one mewled and chased the black one before hopping into Icarus' desk chair, staring down at its mate, wanting it to come up and cuddle.

The black dragon was panting a little from chasing the white one around, and he flopped up on the desk, lying on his belly and staring up at his mate.

The whit one mewed softly and nuzzled the black one softly. The white one then went into the bathroom and stole a towel before getting back up on the desk. The fuzzy reptile purred softly as she laid the towel over the black dragon before cuddling up to him, wanting the other to rest.

The black one batted the white one softly, dragging it under the towel and cuddling back.

The white one purred more and cuddled with her mate under the towel, going to sleep. Icarus couldn't help but laugh softly. "Now that's just cute."

Jethrow smiled at Icarus' comment and nodded softly.
Benjamin stared at the handiwork as people invited to the party started coming in. "Think we're about ready for the guest of honor?" he asked, looking over at Sophia.

Icarus sighed again and just relaxed, leaning against Jethrow.
Sophia was just finishing placing a few cherries on the cake the kitchen had made for Icarus. She then turned to Benjamin and nodded. "I believe we are! Someone text Jethrow or send a pigeon! The party is ready! Now everyone take your places and hide! It is a surprise party after all!" the French duchess giggled, hiding with Benjamin and the others after she turned off the lights.

Sarah texted Jethrow telling him to come downstairs. His phone had somehow made its way underneath Icarus' bed. It started vibrating loudly and he jumped, before looking around for it.
A few minutes later, after fishing under her bed, he found it and checked the message. He smirked and stood, tucking the phone in his pocket and extending a hand to Icarus. "Let's go on a walk..."

Icarus also jumped when Jethrow's phone went off. After recovering from that almost-heart attack,s he looked to Jethrow. The girl shrugged a little and braided her ivory hair and took his hand, getting to her feet. "Alright. Where are we going?" she asked, glancing to the pocket where Jethrow had slipped his phone.

"Downstairs," he answered truthfully, taking her hand and leading her out of the room. He took the long way down, just in case the surprise party needed some tweaking, before he came to the double doors leading into the room. He pushed them open, leading Icarus in behind him.
