She looked around to make sure no one was there and took a seat beside him on the floor. "I'm going to tell you something about myself. Keep it quiet, though." Mercina took a black, leather bound book from her bag and opened it to the begining. "Look." She showed him the first part of the book that was all blank.

Mercina took a black, leather bound book from her bag and opened it to the begining. "Look." She showed him the first part of the book that was all blank. "What? It's blank..."

She flipped the pages a bit to reveal that writing started about a third ways into the book. It was a type of glyph writing. "It's called Theban... Kinda of a witch's language. Either way... What's writen here is what's happened the past 90something years I can remember. There's writing on those blank pages, but I just can't see it and no one else can. See... The only thing I really know about myself is my name and what happens every century." She closed the book and bit her lip as she was trying to think of how to put her words.

I wake up not knowing where I am or what happened that century before. And the pages I wrote down become blank. I have to start writing again." Mercina put the book in her bag. "So I don't know how long I've been wandering or what has happened before."

He thought for a minute, then snapped his fingers and a large, scale bound book appeared in his hands "Maybe something in here could help..."
