It has always amused me that Gaia just seems to use the Hallmark card version of the popular holidays. We get the Easter Bunny, Santa, and pumpkins, but no mention is ever made of the real reason for the holiday. Also, the lack of Jewish Holiday observance bothers me slightly.

It's because they don't want to "offend" other religions. Anyone that runs something with many people are paranoid about that.

it was in humor.
what I meant was the organization of religion offends me, which seems to be the shared opinion of the majority now days.
The people who follow religion don't offend me anymore than anyone else possibly could of coarse.
I could get in depth, but there is no place for that here, I just hope we can all be accepting enough as any community like this should be.

I wasn't talking about atheists anyways, I actually don't like them very much.
I was referring to the people who still choose to follow a religion or believe in a powerful being, the majority of which choose not to be part of the organization due to the past corruption and current controversy, hence my "cheers" to Cale.
