Anna Sachae No, no race or gender bias at all, especially not in the Empire. I love the Galactic Empire's concept, execution, and most of its non-Sith officers, but that was the most racist, sexist organization outside of Hapes in the whole damn galaxy. And yes, I loathe Hapes. Bah, I never really considered the gender bias in the Empire as factual. Why else would Isaard be able to control it? Or Daala?

Or Daala? nk the original point was there were no Imperial women in the movies, and the Empire was retroactively de-sexist-ized in the EU by adding women to it.

And even then, there are a startling lack of women in common positions anywhere in the Empire. Unless you're an officer of moderate to high rank, you're a faceless human male with an ID number.
