Mercina looked over towards the one man who was coughing. She got up from her chair and got a glass of water from the bar. She then walked over and offered it to him without a word, but with a smile.

Mari Star 146 Mercina looked over towards the one man who was coughing. She got up from her chair and got a glass of water from the bar. She then walked over and offered it to him without a word, but with a smile. He took it and choked out "Thank you" Amidst his coughs

She sat back down at her table so they could continue their conversation without her interupting. Mercina continued to scribble some things in her spell book.

Alex looked a little worried, then looked over at the girl. "So, I guess I'll introduce myself first... I'm Alex, the ice dragon and, interestingly enough, the Dragon Guardian as well (or one of them)." He lowered his head in a bow, then looked up again. "What's your name, and what have you there?" he asked, looking at her spellbook.

"Mercina Lunesque is my name. It's a pleasure to meet you Sir Alex of Dragons." She grinned and laughed as she said her last statement. "This here is my book of shadows." She closed the book and lifted it up to show him the black leather bound book.

Alex snorted as she called him "sir" but waited for her to finish before saying, "Please... don't call me sir. Alex will do fine (though it really isn't my real name)." He smiled, then continued. "Pleased to meet you too, Mercina. And that is some book. How many spells?" ((last post for tonight...))

"I only called you sir out of mock respect. Take a joke." She laughed a bit.
Mercina then looked at her own book and thought for a moment. "You know. I'm not exactly sure. I just write them as I make them and even then I always go back and redo spells. It's a constantly changing piece of literature." She put the book in her bag and got up from the table. "Well I'm off. I need to test some of the spells I just wrote down. Take care." She was then out the door without another word.

*Yawns and slumps down in a chair, taking a swig of his drink, staring into the depths of the roof, wondering how many times a hole had been ripped through it by sudden entrances and exits.*

Alanna popped her head through the crack of the door, getting a good look to see if anyone was there. If so she couldnt see them. She entered and took her usual seat at the bar on her favorite swivel chair. Her satcel swayed at her side and she reached her hand in taking out a book, that had chains keeping it closed.

She hopped off and grabbed a chair bringing it back over with her and hopped back onto the swivel chair, kicking her feet up onto the backrest of the chair. She leaned her back against the counter and placed the book in her lap eyeing it warily and running her fingers across the cold chains and warm leather binding.
