She took her book out of her bag and started reading from it again. She sat quietly at the table and was minding her own business.

*His fingertips had scraped against the wooden rafter beam every fifth second or so for nearly three hours, It had caused the skin to rip itself apart and left bloody traces on the entire beam. His hunger had begun to overwhelm him, it was easy to see with his entire body shackeing and that sinister and hungry look in his eyes that now turned more and more blood red by the hour. He knew it wouldn't be wise to refrain from feasting for so long for a second time, however he did not desire to cause any bloodshed for the sole purpose of satisfying his hunger.
But it was too late now, he only hoped he didn't harm anyone he knew.
He remained up there, waiting for a victim to stroll in*

Alanna walks in pushing the door closed against the winter winds outside. Her hair was knotted and molded by the wind to stick out and hang infront of her face. Rummaging through her bag she found a brush and sat down the bar counter, brushing her hair out.

She had felt his hot breath and deep growl before he had lunged. Swiftly she kicked back from the bar, dropping her chair down and rolled away jumping back to her feet. She grumbled in anger and confusment. "The Hell?!?"Her eyes flashed to a dark green and a low growl emited from her mouth. Alanna shook her head letting her brushed hair flow free, half covering her face as she started at him, ready to defend against his next attack.
