Mercina laughed and put the book in her bag. "Oh no. A book of shadows is just a fancy name for a witch's spell book and journal." She smiled at the girl and moved her hand indicating to sit across from her at the table.

She grinned and took the offered seat from across the table. Her tail wrapped itself around one of the pillars of the backrest of the chairs. "I see. Your a witch? Thats quite interesting. Never met one of those before. What kind are you?" She tilts her head to the side in question.

"Just about anything really. From simple spells..." Mercina waved her hand and Alanna's chair scooted in towards the table. "To elemental battle magic." She held out her hand and a fireball appeared in it. She then dismissed the flame. "Fire's just one of the four elements, as I'm sure you already know." She took a sip of her wine. "I don't use my magic for evil because I believe in the concept of 'Do what ye will an' it harm none.' The only way I'd use my magic to harm someone would be in self defense or the aid of another. My clothes may be black, but my magic isn't." She laughed a bit and took another sip of her wine.

She echoched her laughter and scooted her chair back out to a comfortable posistion. "Then im sure your familiar with necromacer's?" Alanna asks searching the room with her eyes.

"Yes, I'm familiar with them. I don't agree with their use of magic, though. I think that once something has experienced the grasp of death, they shouldn't be brought back." Mercina circled the top of her glass with her finger and a soft sound came from the glass.

"I don't see why not." Mercina smiled and flicked her hand towards a chair beside Alanna and it scooted out so he could sit in it.
((It might take me a bit to respond. I have a crappy computer, I'm doing laundry, and painting. Talk about multitasking, huh? xd ))

She smilied at the newcommer. She had gone off into thought and wasnt paying much attention to anything, except the converstaion they were having. "Oh! Come join us!" She was eager and happy to have another join.
(( Awsome. xd Im multi tasking too but.. its just with alot of screens and typing. ))

Alexara slowly pushed the bar door open, her ocean blue eyes narrowing slightly as one of her long arms lightly wrapped around her waist. Her nose sniffed the air of the bar, her other hand now free as it's fingers ran through her long black hair. The scent in this air was different from the other places she had been to; then again she was just a mere stranger now. Nothing but a ghost, she guessed.
"Hm. Interesting.. Not so bad though." Her white shirt wrinkled at her arm movements.

Alanna rose from her seat getting restless from sitting in one place for too long. "Well..Im gana use a little magic in these legs and get my lazy butt to walk back home...and be lazy anyway. Now thats a real trick!" She chuckled and walked towards the door, giving a random hug to the new person, with a smile. "See ya around people! Don't be strangers and not come and visit now. XD" She stepped down from the bar entrance and headed back to her snowy wonderland
