Benjamin put his had on one book. "This one is the detailed journal of Jethrow von Dante, the wizard that found this school and watched it grow. There are descriptions of everyone else in there, as well. There's the medical journal of his student, Anya, which picks up on her first year in charge of the medical ward. That's about a decade or so before it says she got married. There's a family tree that traces the branches of some of the more extended families all the way until the nineties. Then there's a couple of different books written by a few of them. One on strategy and defense by the weapons master teacher. One on dragons, compiled by the several of them that there were. There's one even on gods, compiled by a whole generation that ended up with three gods."

Sophia listened, looking at all the books. Of course she was a little skeptical. "But Benjamin... All those things... Wizards, dragons, gods... They aren't real..." she murmured, wondering what had brought all this about. This was just so confusing.
Back in the nightingale's room, Icarus was waking up, yawning. She sat up a little and stretched deeply before getting out of bed. She went to her bathroom, getting a cup of water before sitting down at her desk and sighing a little. Now she was wide awake with nothing to do. Jethrow and the little dragons were asleep and she didn't want to disturb them...

Benjamin frowned back at Sophia. He had known--most likely from the time he and Icarus had discovered those little dragons up in the rubble above--that all of this was real. There was something magical about the school. He just wished he could prove it to Sophia. "Think about it, though. All the strange stuff that happens here. The rooms change immediately when we need them to. Say I said this room needed another chair for you..." Benjamin trailed off. There was the sound of a scraping chair leg, and suddenly a second chair identical to the one that he and Sophia sat in pulled itself up to the table. He gestured to it with his eyebrows raised.

Sophia blinked a little as Benjamin tried to explain, soon she looked to the new chair before screaming and clinging to Benjamin. "EEEEKKK!!! G-Ghost chair!!!" Quite superstitious this one....

Benjamin rolled his eyes, petting Sophia's hair for a bit to calm her down. "Sweetheart, it's not a ghost chair."

Sophia looked back to Benjamin, releasing her tight grip on him as he stroked her hair. "B-But it came out of nowhere..." he whimpered, looking to the chair.

Sophia looked back to Benjamin, then to the chair, then to her love. She then sighed a little. "So maybe this magic thing is real... But why has no one discovered it until now? I mean haven't tons of students attended here over the years?"

Benjamin hesitated for a moment, then leafed through a couple of pages. "You see this stuff? Written in Latin? I found a translation of it. It's like a prophecy thing. One of the people here--Anya--was a faerie and she sometimes saw things. She saw the end of what they knew as Mesilici. They all knew whatever happened was coming, and it says something about a preparation for another generation, intended for after the danger had passed. Maybe... Maybe whatever danger there was passed. That's why all of a sudden things are happening again. It... It looks like all of us--Jethrow, Icarus, Sarah, you, and me--are from some sort of lineage. I've been studying the lines and some people survived. They weren't here, and they were able to continue the magic lines."

Sophia listened to Benjamin curiously. She nodded a little and sighed some. "So if we all descended from people who came from here, then have you found out who came from where?" she asked, stroking his hair a little. This was a lot to wrap one's head around, but she'd try.

Benjamin shrugged and flipped a few pages. "I'm pretty sure Jethrow and Sarah have the monopoly on this one lineage, and I have an idea for Icarus. But I have no idea about me... Or you.

Sophia thought more and sighed a little. This was a lot to process... "Benjamin. Let's go back to bed. Save sorting all this out for in the morning. It's the middle of the night." she said, petting him a little. She was getting tired and all this was making her head hurt.

[OOC:] Make a post in the OOC? Benjamin sighed and nodded. His eyes were starting to droop anyways. He held Sophia before standing, carrying her over to his bed and putting her down. He grabbed the blankets (which were still on the floor from the last time he'd slept in his own room) and pulled them over the two of them, wrapping his arms around his French beauty and snuggling her.

Sophia wrapped her arms around the Spaniard's neck as he carried her to his bed. She smiled some and cuddled with him under the blankets, yawning some. Now maybe they could get some rest. Like she was going to let Benjamin roll out of bed again.

It didn't take long for Benjamin to fall asleep in Sophia's arms, his chin resting on the top of her head.
