Will do... It shouldn't be too much.. It's just that last part that I have to do before they can send it to a judge to have him sign off on it and then it will be official.. Just seems weird.. ya know.. the whole finality of it. Dunno if I'm making sense.. But my mom is coming with me. (Some one has to give a statement stating that I haven't be "performing my wifely duties" rolleyes Including doing his laundry, dishes, cooking his meals.. and the obvious of course... )

Those are wifely duties? Eep. I'm screwed. Seriously though I hope things work out for you. *hug*

Hi Carrie! (Did I spell that right? sweatdrop ) *hugs you again* I'm glad you are happy. It is strange but I have to wonder if it is simply because something major is changing in your life? Anytime something major has changed in mine I'm always out of sorts for a bit. I always get back to "normal" though.

I don't want coffee this morning but hot cocoa sounds heavenly! It is so freeze your toes off cold here right now and my house heater just isn't keeping up as well as I'd like it too.

Almost, Kari, no Stephen King, lol. I'm in a good mood today cause I don't have to leave the guild and I start school today and I get truck loads of money tomorrow. Plus you guys really cheered me up the past couple of days. 3nodding

Tell me about it, I think the outside is actually warmer than the inside of my house! I'm sitting here in gloves, scarf, slippers, sweater, Pj's, AND a thermal robe and I'm still cold, lol. But I'm a lizard in the cold and a polar bear in the heat so I'm never in between stressed

Hi peeps! I'm trying to steal off some time with the comp right now. I hate it when my computer isn't working. sweatdrop

Sorry to intrude on the conversation without knowing all the background, but you have to prove you haven't done "wifely duties" before you can get divorce? That's rather interesting idea... countries seem have rather different procedures on these things.

I keep my house at 66 during the day.
I have a leetle (300 watt) heater under my desk.
Plus I'm wearing a coat and hat rofl

What's funny is I live in southern californaia.
Global Warming? Bring it on! rofl

Every state in the U.S. has slightly different laws on divorce..

In Virginia (where I currently reside) If you have children together you have to be seperated at least a year before you can get a divorce. And part of proving that we have been seperated is proving I haven't been "performing my wifely duties".. especially because we still reside in the same house... I swear if Jerry Springer paid his guests I'd be rich lol stressed rofl

Ken you can have some of our heat if you want. We have now about -1C (30F) and if this would be normal winter it should now be about -15C to -20C (5F to -4F) so you are more than welcome to take that extra 15F from us. xd

Edit: Ah ok. In here you have a "thinking period" of half an year and if you want to get a divorce you need to renew your paper in the office. If you want to cancel the thing then you don't need to do anything because the divorce won't be official if you don't renew the paper.

It is always interesting to see the difference between countries. Ken you live in the US right? Did you know most other countries apparently don't sell over the counter medicines like Neosporin?!?

I'm guessing it's because they have different regulations and different medicines that are popular.
the U.S. Pharmas have a very incestuous symbiotic relationship with the FDA.

My friend's sister and her family live in Switzerland and tried to take a small suitcase of Neosporin home with them on the air plane and almost got in a lot of trouble! They had to check it in all special and prove it was just the medicine and stuff with the receipts and by letting them sniff each tube. I laughed when she told me.
