Icarus yawned a little and leaned more on the vampire as she drifted off to sleep.
The boy was waiting by a door, waiting for the right time. After another half hour, when most of the school was asleep, he quietly picked the lock and propped the door open. Now all he had to do was lay low for a few hours.

Jethrow was asleep, comfortable with Icarus.
Elsewhere, Benjamin woke up, looked down at sleeping Sophia and frowned. There was something wrong, but he just couldn't think of what...

Icarus slept deeply next to the vampire, barely even stirring at a slightly howling wind.
Sophia was also sound asleep. She was unaware that Benjamin was awake and troubled.

Following a hunch, Benjamin got out of bed, kissed Sophia's forehead, and headed to his own room. When he got there, the Mesilici lineage book had been joined by other books on his desk, and he sat down, hesitantly cracking them open to see what they said...
Needles to say, Benjamin was not thrilled. He had discovered a few choice things about where he had come from, where Jethrow had come from, and where Icarus had come from. And things weren't looking good for them... [OOC:] Don't know where I'm going with this, so any ideas?

[OOC:] The vampire idiots can come in. And Icarus can defend everyone with her fire. But she might have a bit of a breakdown because she actually killed someone. Then Jethrow can try to nurse her mental wounds. *shrug*

Sophia stirred a little as Benjamin kissed her forehead and left. After a while, she began to wake, though looking around to see Benjamin gone. "Benjamin?"
Icarus stirred a bit, but didn't wake, enjoying the quiet, cool night. She only woke for a moment to lay Jethrow down on the bed before joining him and going back to sleep.

Benjamin was pouring over the books still, several candles around him in the dark of his room. He didn't want to turn on his light... Though he didn't know why.
Jethrow didn't move in his sleep, but he frowned a little as he wrapped his arms around Icarus.

Sophia got out of bed and wrapped a blanket around her shoulders. The French girl exited her room and decided to see if he was in his room. The girl knocked on the door softly. "Benjamin? Are... Are you in there?"
Icarus cuddled closer to the vampire, feeling his arms around her. She gently played with his hair as they slept, wanting him to relax.

Benjamin didn't even hear Sophia, but his door swung open silently, allowing the girl into the candle lit room.

Sophia flinched a little as the door swung open a little and seeing the dark room lit by candles. She cautiously entered and saw Benjamin just pouring over books. "B-Benjamin?"

Benjamin jumped, looking up at Sophia. In the dark, he looked different. The flames cast sinister shadows on his face that made him look almost like a creature from hell. If it weren't for the innocent, frightened expression he had from being shocked by her, he probably would have been downright terrifying. He relaxed when he saw it was Sophia. "Sorry I left... I just... I don't know why, but I had to come and read this. I still don't know what I'm even reading..."

Sophia flinched as Benjamin turned to her. He looked so frightening. And truth be told, she was scared. But as she studied his expression, she calmed a little. The French duchess entered the room and went over to a lamp and turned it on, blowing out a few scary candles. She then hugged Benjamin, looking at the books. "What books are these?"

Benjamin winced from the sudden light, and pulled Sophia down into his lap, nuzzling her hair a little. "Sorry if I scared you," he murmured before looking at the books. "I don't really know... I just found them in here."

Sophia smiled a little and nuzzled the Spaniard some. "It's alright." she mumbled before looking at the books as well. "What are they about?"
