Jethrow shook his head. "Remind me to thank whoever that was eventually," he said. He didn't smile, but he took Icarus' hand and led her outside, towards the woods and the clearing they'd recently left. "I don't really care. Hell, I'm a monster. You seem like an innocent little school girl with a lollipop compared to me."

Icarus sighed a little as Jethrow took her hand, but she laughed a little. "What? You want to see me in a schoolgirl outfit? I know where to get one..." she teased before sighing, getting rid of the joke. After a moment of thinking, she stopped, looking to her feet. "But there is one part I should tell you. He um... He killed the guy... The shop owner... And... I was charged with accessory after the fact. They.. They said I helped kill him..." she said, beginning to sob.

Jethrow was glad when Icarus changed the subject from the school girl outfit, but when she started crying, he pulled her close, holding her against his chest. "It's okay, it's okay." He smoothed her hair, holding her until her sobs started to get a little quieter. "Wanna know why I'm here?"

Icarus clung to Jethrow as she cried. As she calmed down, she heard him ask her something. Why he was here? She nodded some, wanting to know. Maybe it would make her feel better.
As the two had their little moment, the guy from earlier watched the woods from a window. He pulled out a cell phone and dialed a number. Once it was picked up, he smirked some. "Hey. I found the kid. The vampire right? My ex is with him. She the one you're looking for right? Let me make a deal. I'll let you into the building, but what I want is three hundred thousand dollars and her. Take all her blood, but I want her first." he said, smirking at his own deal.
[OOC:] Guess who!! The evil vampires that want to drain the little birdie dry!

[OOC:] Benjamin and Sophia better be ready to be involved... Jethrow felt Icarus nod, and he smiled a little. He didn't want to tell her, but he would because he wanted her to feel better. "I used to be part of a gang. Sort of a vampire gang. Essentially, we wreaked havoc most of the time. We did a lot of bouncing around, terrifying people. There were.... A lot of deaths. I was a new recruit. They'd picked me up from the streets when I was first made. I always suspected them for it, actually, but none of them owned up to changing me. Mostly we hunted hunters; people who'd killed off vampires before. So humans, but humans who knew what we were and had a fighting chance. We hadn't been able to catch our current hunt for a while... We were a little insane with the thirst. They came home after a scouting mission, during which I was in charge of watching the place we were staying. They came in the room with three girls, blindfolded and tied up. There were about ten of us, and the idea was we would share. Only two of us didn't want to do it, but naturally, we didn't have much of a choice. After that, we finally caught up to the hunter. We were no match for him, despite our numbers. He had a kid, though, and the leader of the gang got his hands on her. He was going to snap her neck..." Jethrow paused for a second. "She reminded me of my younger sister, who I hadn't seen in a century or so. So, I saved her. The hunter let me live because of it, and he insisted that I go somewhere that the gang couldn't find me. For whatever reason, that was here."

Icarus listened to the story and sighed a little. "I guess we both have our own little problems." she muttered, nestling close to the vampire. She then thought a bit before glancing up at him. "Want to just head to my room? We can rest there in peace."

Jethrow nodded and smiled. "Sure, let's go." He took her hand, but waited for her to take the lead.

Icaru smiled some and led the vampire back up to her room. Once there, she shut the door and locked it to keep her ex out. Once that was done she sat down on her bed and sighed again. Soon she gently pulled the vampire down to sit with her and she cuddled close, not wanting to be alone.

Jethrow sighed and smoothed back Icarus' hair, holding her in his lap against his chest. "What a day this one turned out to be," he said, wincing as his wrist brushed against her shoulder. He pulled it away, leaving it to his side where nothing could touch it.

Icarus let him stroke her hair, but she remembered something and gently took the vampire's wrist in her hand. "We should go see the nurse.... Get this taken care of before we sleep." she muttered. She suddenly felt very bad. This was her fault he was hurt. The nightingale then gently kissed his wrist, wishing that could make it better.

Jethrow smiled as Icarus kissed his wrist, and he thanked her, getting up and being careful with his wrist, holding it close to him. He wrapped his other arm possessively around the girl's shoulders, though. They walked down to the medical wing, where Sarah and one other student were sitting, eating sandwiches. Sarah looked up and frowned when she saw her cousin. "What did you do?" she asked through a mouthful, gesturing for the guy sitting with her to go get bandages for the wrist. She directed Jethrow to a chair, and she twisted his head, looking at the bruises and cuts. "Did you do this?" she asked Icarus curiously, only for Jethrow to glare at her. The other student handed her some bandages, and she took care of a cut above Jethrow's eye before splinting his wrist. "It's not broken, just barely fractured. I'm guessing you healed a significant amount since you got in your little fight."

Icarus walked with Jethrow to the medical wing. She helped him sit down while Sarah began to look him over. But the girl simply huffed when asked if it was her. She shook her head a little, but didn't provide any more information. She just wanted to go back to her room and sleep with the vampire she cared for. Maybe even loved.

When Jethrow was all bandaged up, Sarah told him to get out and not to come in again for a while. Jethrow rolled his eyes and took Icarus' hand and left the medical wing, going back to Icarus' room.

Icarus led Jethrow back to her room. She relocked her door once they were in and went to the window, opening it up to let cool air into the room. She then returned to the bed and the vampire's side. "Maybe now we can rest in peace..." she mumbled, wrapping a blanket around Jethrow then nuzzling into his next to him.

Jethrow wrapped his good arm around Icarus, keeping her close and closing his eyes. He hoped that all the chaos was done for the day...
