Hearing a young girls scream Zetsuei had a deep chill run through his heart like someone he deeply cared for was in trouble then saw Fira inside the throne room.

"Fira" He yelled "Watch Maki, something is wrong and I need to find out what it is I dont have a good feeling about it. If need be get her out of here"

Finishing his sentence Zetsuei ran towards the balcony which Katrea was backing queen to. As he passed Katrea he nodded to him as he spoke quickly

" Trust me Katrea, we need to talk"

Diving out off the balcony and spreading his wings Zetsuei saw a small girl surrounded by rat people which had formed a circle around her and were slowly closing in.

" Hang on little one, Im coming"

Landing on the ground infront of the young girl his wings vanished and a long black katana formed in his left hand as a deep purple aura flowed upward off his body like a flame.

"Do not worry little one, these damned creatures will not harm you."

Hearing the scream from out of the castle Yuki Jumped up and ran towards it, She knew the rats were never going to win and wanted to see what havoc they were going to inflict for their last move, Yuki was stunned in place when she saw them surrounding a little innocent girl.

Do these creatures not care for honourable kills

As a Man with wings swooped down to protect her Yuki noticed a man amongst the rats that was missing an ear. Anger flarred in her voice as she shouted towards the small group.

"Stand down Rat-Soldiers, the battle is lost for us.
And you Ear Boy, I should Kill you now for even thinking of an unhonourable kill.
I swear if Andreas even think I'll let his men kill a defense less girl then he is mistaken."

The soldier raised his hand to were his ear used to be, and quickly sheathed his sword, nodding, knowing that He was safer to do as Yuki said, after sparing him when she killed his friends.

Yuki's eyes never returned to their soft gracefulness as she took out her shuriken whip, willing to kill the rats herself if they ignored her command.

Andreas cackled at Zetsuei thinking he was so high and mighty, he was nothing to him, less then that. he then turned to fira.

"you've grown strong i see with time. i hope you don't still hold a grudge, i still believe your an intriguing woman young fira but i needed what you had back then so long ago. right now the item i have acquired here is what i need and i don't intend on giving it back after all this effort"

andreas suddenly heard the scream instantly recognizing it for some reason and saw how this meeting was becoming more interesting by the second. he watched Zetsuei jump down and could see the fight below with the little men he had left trying to kill any they still could and it looked like yuki was trying to stop them. that yuki, sometimes he wondered if she was just to honorable, thou he doubted most of them would listen to her after he had left them for dead.

he turned to katrea seeing the man was a strong fighter but had one true weakness at the moment, the queen. but that scream....the girl hmmm.... he stared at the scar faced man and grinned looking slightly at the princess.

"maybe some other time katrea and we shall have a proper duel on more appropriate grounds"

andreas lifted his hand and from his finger tips toxic purple gas erupted towards the two sending a cloud of smoke in the air. as he turned facing the baloneys edge tattered vulture like wings opened out from under his cape and he lifted of towards the castle walls with one mighty push. he could see yuki down below and was sure she would see him as he drifted down, he smiled wondering how angry she would be at him for just leaving her but she could catch up and vent her anger after they left the castle.

looking back to the gates andreas slowly drifted down landing on his feet and walking close to the bushes just next to them, hiding his wings and with the nicest voice he could he began to speak out.

"its ok little one. this horrible battle is enough to scare and confuse anyone. why don't you come out and ill take you to safety. this is no place for a young girl like you and you shouldn't be caught up in such a thing"

he walked a little closer bending to his knees and smiling.

"come now don't be scared. my name is shinja i mean you no harm. these people fighting may hurt you, ill just take you somewhere safe where you can tell me where you've come from ok"

Andreas stayed knelt there hands held high with an honest look on his face.

"im not the one sending threats, all i want is to protect the girl from people like you who draw there weapons for a fight harming any in there way"

he stood to his feet backing away near the gate.

"ill let you decide little one,i wont force you and if you need me to i'll protect you from what this man has install, i don't know what magic or tricky his capable of but if you wish it ill watch over you"

his words an appearance showed true honest and sympathy for the girl but inside he smiled cruelly.

"You're a dead man."

The four words echoed through the castle as if some unknown force amplified them. The hooded man chose this time to reveal himself -- the real Shinja had returned. He quickly removed his hood and cloak, revealing that his hair had turned completely silver as he charged at Andreas, the bandages unraveling around the sheath of the katana that Zetsuei's father had given him -- the Kusanagi Blade. He then, for the first time since his last true battle, drew the sword from its sheath. The blade was flawless, shimmering in the sunlight.

As he grew closer to Andreas, he swung the massive blade after pushing Zetsuei out of the way, creating a whistling noise which seemed to be louder than anything at the time.

Shinja's eyes remained on Andreas, awaiting the result of his attack. "Take her far from here, Zetsuei...I'm trusting you." Shinja then stepped back and readied his sword before suddenly feeling another burst of pain spread throughout his body. The mark on his neck, now visible due to the lack of his cloak, spread over his skin and nullified the pain.

Walking quickly into the throne room Zetsuei released his grip on the little girl and set her infront of him as he knelt before her and looked into her eyes and placed one of her tiny hands over where his heart was.

" I mean you no harm little one, do not listen to that other man he means to hurt you or use you for him to get more power. Feel whats in my heart and make your decision, I just want to protect you from harm."

His eye began to slightly quiver as he quickly looked over to Maki who was just to their left. He had already failed her and didnt want to fail the little girl and have her come to harm
