Hot damn, hope it works out for you boyo, I don't THINK we've got gamestop...I'll have to check the one in town, but we've got GAME and a lot of independent video game stores too.

Im really hoping it goes well, too. At first I was worried that the job was gonna be diluted with corporate bullshit, but so far, I have a great time at work and they're not on my a** to get reserves or trade-ins or anything (though we seem to be doing fine on the latter without really having to push them at my store). Of course, that could change if I get promoted and/or move stores. Rain Yupa Oh snap! It's funny. I think there are two GameStops in this one place that's pretty close by me. I wonder if two seperate stores compete with eachother when they're part of the same company.

Yeah, I dont get that, either. The mall I work at now used to also have an EB Games right downstairs from the Gamestop for a while when boLth were owned by the same company.
I should ask my boss and see if he knows.

Yeah, I think that was it. It was an EB Games and a GameStop...but they both had the same stuff. I figured something was similar anyway.

At our mall (though half an hour away), on top of having Gamestop, EB Games, and EB KIDS or whatever its called, the bookstore was Waldenbooks.
Around a couple years ago, Borders bought them out, and turned it into a Borders bookstore. Then they built another borders in the new shopping complex across the street within the same year.
I mean, srsly, what the hay? >_<

In a mall near where I used to live in Connecticut (the Crystal Mall), there was a Gamestop at one end of the mall. In the middle of the mall, barely out of line of sight of that gamestop, was ANOTHER Gamestop. And finally, at the opposite end of the mall from the first Gamestop was an E.B. Games. This wasn't even a large mall.

No, you're right. It's an EB and an EB-X, in addition to the Gamestop at the far end. It's been awhile. sweatdrop
EDIT - And by awhile, I mean a week ago when I was visiting, but we didn't even go through the whole mall.
