Sigil Warden You admitted you don't know what you're doing, so why should I trust you? 1) what other choice do you have... besides to leave? 2) He said the score card was unsettling to him... that doesn't constitute "I don't know what I am doing". They are using their own rubric system in this tournament unlike any other...his adjusting and being honest about it. 3) what you are doing right now...is why they don't reveal who is on the judging staff. He has made ZERO official decrees...he has done nothing so far for you to antagonize him and even asked you to back off...and yet here you being unnecessary.

Unspeakable Tragedy The Thunder Tyrant No, if I were in the tournament I'd have lost in the first round despite getting a KO because Vintrict would make up a rule so that I'd lose. rofl I think we are all forgetting how Vintrict docked me for using an approved ability.

He said he 'judged' the fights already but didn't use the scores. How the hell did he manage that?
The comments are fluff, the only thing that matters is the actual scores. That tells me he doesn't understand what he's supposed to be doing.

The character is only good for cyber at this point.

Most tournaments list their staff, actually. They just make the scorecards anonymous so you can't tie a particular score to a particular judge.
Zan also never said he didn't know what he was doing, so I don't know why Sigil's getting on his case when he hasn't even done anything to indicate whether or not he'll be a good judge or not.
EDIT:: Wrong, Sigil. Scores and commentary mean the same thing: nothing. They're merely quantitative and qualitative explanations of why a judge thought one fighter won over the other.
The only ACTUAL important thing is which fighter gets the thumbs up, and which fighter has a judge majority, i.e. 2/3 of the judges in their favor. It boils down, at its most basic, to a yes/no, pass/fail situation. Numbers and commentary are both just explanations.

Let's be fair though. His post was hilarious.
I'm guessing he meant he's already determined the "winner" according to his opinion, but he just hasn't attributed numerical values yet. Though I'm not 100% convinced that's the case because... that wouldn't make any sense considering the bonus/penalties section.
Like he could go "Yeah, fighter A won, let's write down these numbers." and then find that something like a kill penalty or consistent posting bonus made fighter B technically win, score-wise.
Or some s**t its Zantara lol guy doesn't make any sense.

I know that's the practice irl but on here people like Sigil make it almost necessary to hide these people for the sake of their on sanity. The Thunder Tyrant Zan also never said he didn't know what he was doing, so I don't know why Sigil's getting on his case when he hasn't even done anything to indicate whether or not he'll be a good judge or not. But more importantly...that.

I'm not saying he's a shitty judge. He asked me to back off because I said it did not bode well that he is unfamiliar with the scoring system.
He might be the most fair and balanced judge in the history of Gaia, but if he is judging fights without using the scoring rubric then there is either a communication or a comprehension problem.

Wow....you really are jaded if numbers matter that much to you. *shakes head* The comments should never be fluff. *hands her a card with a giant A+ on it and a trio of gold stars* I have gone over the fights, written my 1-6 PAGES of commentary, looked back over the profiles which I just got earlier today, adjusted my commentary, and given a judgement on who I think should win by my own scoring. Now I'm spending another few hours putting together the score cards because obviously to someone an arbitrary number is more important that a honest-to-god critique of their style.
