TeaDidikai I've actually been getting a bit antsy about my username as well. It's frustrating when you're 25, with your own house, car, job, wife, etc and can't help but worry that your parents/grandparents will track you down on the internet, find what you've been saying that they don't like, and harass you more than they already do at already uncomfortable family get-togethers. At least the real world is harder to track people down in... MY GOD, what complicated conversations would arise if they were a fly on the walls during our "camping" trips....ROFL

huh -- I haven't had this problem. Thankfully, my name is also an actual name around the world, for both genders.

I have been using this same name online since 1996. If my parents have bothered to look up anything about me online, they've never said anything. So I don't worry about it. But I also don't broadcast much of a personal nature online, either.

TeaDidikai My sense of humor demands that should I ever fall into enough money to travel abroad (damn Shamans- always hogging the deck chairs) I fully intend to pop in on people unannounced... but now this is known to some of the people I would visit- so it's semi-announced. ninja Come visit me. It's not technically abroad, though. But at the same time, you might want to wait until I move.

One of the questions on my study guide for history was to name to mystery religions. Naturally teh first one that came to mind was WICCA. xd
Then I read the next added on bit. Of Ancient Greece. stare I guess we're going with the Eleusinian and Trohpinios cults then!

Aaaaaand car break-in number THREE since we've moved into this apartment complex last year, but this time it was my baby that got a window smashed. crying Luckily they couldn't get my C.D. player out, but they took my ******** music. I will be looking through pawn shops tomorrow for my Eluveitie and Testament discs. They're not common, so if I find them, I know they're mine.
But we're breaking the ******** lease this month if it kills us. I want out of this dump.

People could definitely track me down via my username, and it does worry me sometimes. This username isn't connected to my real name, I don't think, but I'm sure it's connected somewhere to my other usernames that are. There's a great deal about my private life that I keep just that -- private -- IRL, that I reveal online, so it wouldn't be fun.
I mean, most people I work with don't even know I'm not Christian. I just don't volunteer such information.
I haven't even told people that the reason I'm taking time off next month is because I'm getting married, because I don't want to be faced with questions that might lead me to reveal that the wedding isn't exactly traditional. >_> Unfortunately, my coworkers who do know (and are invited) are overly excited about it, and tell everyone, including my clients. Awkward.
