"Fine, just don't mess up, please," she agreed to Mr. Hanabari's terms. Eventually, Dr. Oshirobi came to the top with the grand total of three people and two Pokémon...
And, naturally, the purity of the Sentry Gun's blueprint.
She carefully, oh SO carefully, undid the tie that held it together, and unrolled it, making sure to tack it towards the walls with magnets an pins. The Sentry Guns seemed like a wonder on their own... so many chambers for the bullets; a highly efficient nozzle; a VERY well done combustion chamber...
As she turned, she flicked her hair, then brought up her Pokéball. "Passy, appear!" With a burst of red light, her recently caught Pichu sa-swayed in.
She turned her head. "Ok! In order to see what the issue is... we need to see if we can shoot them. They have an automated AI Program, but we'll need to go through everything just in case." Automated! Sweet Lord! How WONDERFUL~~~
The Sentry were quiet for now...
She walked towards one, realizing they some shell casings were on the floor... Wait... Mister Overlord had bullet holes in his shirt... Does that mean that these guns TURNED on him...!? Panic? Maybe. Killer guns there!!!
She paused and gave a slight glance back. "Ah... everyone have their TADS and... maybe a Pokémon with tough outer armor by chance?"

The boy smiled cutely and patted Dr. Oshirobi on the back.
"Come on. I'm not dumb hehe."
He followed the group up and then looked at the Doctor oddly.
"Yes and yes. I have my Steelix, Bernie here."
He said with a pokeball in hand.

Sammy thought about it, also examining the scene. "Ah. So Mr. Ginji wasn't just on some renegade mission after all," she said to herself, folding her arms. She released Dasher, her Scizor. He looked ready to kill someone, but then again, he always looked ready to kill someone. "I've got my armored pokemon." Arthur looked up at her sadly; he had a steely exoskeleton and everything! How could he have not been chosen as her armored pokemon? He released a tiny tear, sniffling lightly.

Kip, however, LACKED armor. So did Dr. Ciel, but... well, she was placing her life in technology right now. Or Sammy's Pokémon. Or... yes, or even that Steelix. So, her little Mudkip scuttled behind Arthur instead. HE seemed afraid of those new Pokémon.
Dr. Oshirobi cracked her knuckles. "Alright! There are four guns, so..." A glint appeared in her eyes. It always happened when there was something new to touch and tinker with!
"Who wants to shoot the first gun!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms open.
"Once in a rare while occurrence, I am sure! All we'll have to do is aim at the sea and sky, just to make sure the nozzle isn't jammed for now. If one is, we'll have to dismantle it. If it's not, you can go to the next one while I'll shut it down with my laptop and see if something is up with the AI System? Good, good?" Like a child with lucas or candy, she jumped up. Her blood was pumping. To many, Pokébattles made their lives fun. To her Pokémon were battle-buddies, yes, but tech made her life had purpose! And Pokémon with technology!? Truly, a scientist.
She turned her head towards Ariel, who had come back. She raised her hand. "Hold on! These guns could be dangerous. Do you have your TADS and some sort of shield? Or you can get behind these two..."

Memo let out his Steelix and sat on him lazily. He had a sweatdrop over his head as he watched the Doctor get all spazzy over this.
"Wow. Well I'm good if anyone needs help."

Sammy jumped behind one of the guns, playfully poking at some of the devices. "Hehe! It's so much fun!" she giggled. Dasher brought a claw to his face; of course his trainer would do something so childish. Arthur made sure to completely cover Kip; he obviously didn't trust his trainer, either. Sammy continued to press random devices, trying to figure out how the entire mechanism worked, until she finally got some sense into her. "How do I shoot it?" she questioned.

Making sure to stay behind the metal behemoth, Dr. Oshirobi walked over, attached her laptop, and began a diagnostic examination. "All you'll have to do is... Hold on..." With a few minutes of typing, she overrode the AI to turn into manual mode. "Just shoot with the trigger like any normal gun. They are built for AI, yes, but if the power were to fail, they can still be used manually in case of invasion... Or so the blueprints state."
So far, it seemed like Gun A was in good AI fashion. Three to go!
How was she to know that Gun C - the third to investigate - was going to have... temper issues soon~?

Sammy grinned. "This should be fun!" She grabbed the trigger and... Well, to say that she was trigger-happy would be an understatement. She began firing at the ocean, the white crests of the wave. She was certain, however, not to aim anywhere that a pokemon would be found. She fired in rapid succession, one eye closed so that the other could more accurately pinpoint spots to shoot at. She grinned happily. Arthur backed away, scared silly by his trainer's mad antics.

Ciel jumped a bit and whooted. "There we go!" Being mindful of her laptop in her hands, she stopped trying to defy gravity, but still clapped with her glove. "Alright... Gun A seems to be in full working order. Approved to come back online..." With that, she scratched off the name from her digi-list.
Kip, still hiding behing Arthur, cried out, pointing to the sky and clouds and stuff that Sammy shot, Ciel assumed. "Kippu!!!!" He cried out again, a different angle. Maybe he was looking at a Pokémon? Ah, well. She needed to train him before she really could do anything...
Standing behind Dasher, she waltzed towards Gun B. "Sammy, here's another one!" In the meanwhile, she synched up with it, but then turned to address Passy, her Pichu.
"Alright, Passy. Use some slight electric pulses in order to see that no wires inside are screwed up."
Basic stuff, right?

Sammy jumped, literally, from one to the next. Being a Flaaffy hybrid had its perks. "Aye, aye, Cap'n!" She called, even though she knew the good doctor wasn't a captain. She then began shooting again, at the beach this time. Each time she shot at the sand a little explosion of sand could be seen from the roof of HQ. "Alright!" she grinned, a slight sparkle coming to her smile and a determined gleam in her eye. Arthur watched Kip, raising an eye brow. Actually, to say that is untrue. He raised the part of his forehead that would have been his eye brow had he been human, but he wasn't human, he was a pokemon, so instead it was really just a different shaded portion of his head.

Well of all things, can it be really? Yes! No! Oh! Hi! Oh, my eye!Arekku came into HQ, holding the rewards he'd forgotten to give out yesterday. He began seeking Dr. Oshirobi to make sure she recieved the notice for possible rank up, even though she did loose. He remained quiet though, keeping more to himself than anyone else. My mind may be wondering, but I confess, I believe it is Old Deuteronomy!

Well of all things, can it be really? Yes! No! Oh! Hi! Oh, my eye!Arekku looked up to Memo, feigning a happy smile but failing in the happy part. He did, however, walk over, letting out his own Steelix, Dean, so he could get up to the same height and have decent conversation. "Hey, Memo, Here are the rewards from coming with me and battling..." He handed the package to Memo and plopped down on Dean's head who in turn yawned. My mind may be wondering, but I confess, I believe it is Old Deuteronomy!

Dr. Oshirobi was getting really excited! So far, the second Sentry Gun only had minor problems; easily fixed up by her comp. Passy, of course, helped out a bit with the circuits. Who knew a Pichu could be so handy with re-sautering~?
She watched, amazed as Sammy jumped so high and far. Like a portal ball of energy, only not, 'cause she was Human - at least, that was what the scientist assumed.
Kip, trailing behind, seemed apprehensive. Note to self : My Mudkip despises weapons... The little blue guy kinda just gave Arthur a pleading glance.
She saw Memo off to the side, addressing a person. Though she was a bit busy, she decided to wave a bit, showing that she acknowledged someone else was there. "Hello, sir! We are about to test the last two Sentry Guns... so be aware...!"
Ciel began to unplug from Gun B.
