Ewww, that's manga-style though(Nice guide though, a great help for peopel like my brother who DO prefer to draw manga-style). Louis does not want his works to look like manga. He wants to draw his own style, to be more original. And not all manga is drawn that way. Look at CLAMP for example, a few of their works, like R.G. Veda, have a lot of top-heavy characters in it, but it looks great. CLAMP also tends to drawn quite skinny and long characters with huge eyes. Yet others, like One Piece, have very little extra detail and shading, yet still come off looking great. Then you have Di Gi Charat animation, whever everyone has the hugest eyes and looks like children, and Crayon Shin-chan, where everything is simplistic and ******** looking. And of course, you have western animation and european animation and every other animation across the globe to also compare. that is the reason Louis as well as I tend to not like "How to draw like this style" things, especially manga ones, cuz How to Draw Manga is not very accurate when you remember there are so many kinds of manga styles. He does have some inspiration from manga, but for the most part, he wants to draw an original non-manga comic, in full color, not black and white.
Of course, I am not going to question your style either, it is also nice, though in my personal opinion, I'd like to see you draw more kinds of hairstyles, most of your drawings I have seen so far have a relatively similar hairstyle. Cool though, don't get me wrong, I beg to differ actually, I thought your pic of Armored Shlag was awesome, I don't think the size is bad -looking.
And don't make me remind you fo MY art style, the Fruitster-Haired ********. Horribly hideous drawings, yet it is not easily replicated, It is my own unique style.

Doesn't need to be manga style. That's the base for drawing the female body. You can deviate from it as much as you like, specially since most of that has references from a book on drawing anatomically correct figures. I don't draw my stuff directly form those either. Mine are all in my style. But it's hard to have something look good and right when it's not anatomically correct.
And I love the terra twist. Shlags isn't one though. It's a messy bun, since she has really long hair. Though I am attempting more hair styles, I'm just not good at hair. Me being lazy, I try to stick to what I know and improve on it. But I also have to add more stuff to the inventory. And for the record, I never posted her in her armor. I didn't even upload it. The link is to a Grey Knight. That's how bulky I wanted her armor. It came out far to skinny.

Yeah, I actually like it, but I didn't know you were not good at hair. Louis isn't very good at hands and feet, and not much better and arms and legs. Believe it or not, the guide pic he used for the pose of Xiaeriene, was like that, the chick's body was forward, byt her head was tilted like that, and he does draw necks long, similar to the ones from Voltage Fighter. But as for anotomical, Tope heavy isn't that nice to me, but for R.G. Veda is was actually kinda cool looking.

And I can't draw for s**t, I stick to just writing.
And fortis... I'm lost, what exactly is going on and where are Shadow and Jinzo suppose to be?
And it don't look like Des will really be around much, so i will start Vain and the gangs stories back up.

Just remembering how broken the Imperial Guard was with this new Dawn of War mod I downloaded. It made it much more accurate to the table top War hammer 40,000. The Imp missile turrets are like sniper turrets. Only Two units I know of has a longer ranger. The Necron Pylon and Imp Sentinels. Then again, I haven't yet gone completely siege with them yet. For all I know their Basilisks could out range the Pylon. Which would be ******** considering they have Earth Shakers.
