Then it seems you have a slight advantage over me. I only purchase cards in a set when there's Slivers in it, and half the time I just buy the Slivers singly and ignore the rest of the set's contents. Although I still need an Intruder Alarm, so I can have three infinite combos in my deck.
I do have an old shadow deck, though I don't really ever use it.

lol I stopped as of Future Sight or 10th Edition...
Man.. my favorite card that everyone never took notice of until it was made into a rare in 10th Edition, after it's first appearance in Mirrodin was Loxodon Warhammer.. that thing was next to the best life gain card in the world >> lol xD my friend did not really read the card and though that every time it dealt damage directly to me.. and not deal damage in general >> freaking awesome.. then again I love burn cards like Pulse of the Forge from Darksteel.. 4 damage that can keep coming back especially against a life-gain deck >>

my best deck was hands down an elf deck from onslaught. . .
next to that was my red/green land destruction/artifact control deck from myrrodin I think it was. or my red/black atog deck from mirrodin again I think it was
and my favorite card has always been and always will be dark banishing

Whereas I was afflicted with 'Timmy Syndrome' in my early MtG career. My favorite card was Chromium, the Elder Dragon Legend. The first big creature I ever got, and a dragon to boot. Although a Nicol Bolas/Fire Whip is still a good combo...

All this talk of card games forced my 'hand'. New made-up posted while I wait for my first one to (hopefully) be deliberated upon.
With that, I find my time growing short. I think I shall finish making an addition to one of my posts in Hidden Leaf and then I shall tap two Islands and Boomerang Sliver Token.

twisted i cant make it to medical specialist anymore...but thats fine. i still have access to medical moves and the zodiac.

Sliver: lol xD I only have 3 made ups >> I am working on breaking the 25k mark so I can get the first level of Ryuugan Eyes.. and then getting another 5k to break the 30k to get my 4th made up >> go Seele Schneider D< I'm pulling all of the Quincy moves for this complete crossover.
