All the maladies she'd mentally listed earlier were still there and she really didn't give a flying leap about the politics of the Underdark. She didn't care if Tarathiel was now Malik's enemy, nor did she care if it would be a good investment to give Din the corn fields. SHe didn't care if the entire universe would explode if they didn't burn down the corn fields. She just wanted a nice, warm bath, a change of clothes, and some time to reverie. If Malik wanted her to bless the damn field and then they could home then so be it. She watched the ogres impatiently, ignored the screaming and waited. And waited, and waited. The screaming barely even pierced her subconcious, she just didn't freaking care! Her boot tapped and she crossed her arms, ready to bless at any moment.

"Vah or not, we're not native here. and that means our immunities might have trouble."
Then a smirk at getting covered in soapy water.
"did so. and temper temper."
Back to his twin.
"So...in other thoughts. how are you going to get people to trust you? after all, a huge walking, talking, tiger isn't exactly appealing to women and children."

How long had they been standing there, watching the whole of the fields go up in a blaze and then die right back down? Screams and what not mixing with crackling of flames till it all fell silent? Who knew but for his tastes he was done. The pain was starting to sink in and he'd like nothing more than to be done with this now.
So a look to Zahara. "Flames are down enough, get to it." Nothing but a lot of smoldering now. That said he turned on his boot heel and started to walk/limp off from the group. He'd go back to where they left the horses and wait there, he wasn't waiting around for the friendly little tight knit band of closeness and togetherness. No indeed.

She nodded, it certainly seemed like the flames were done and the screams had died down long ago. She walked forward and stood in the middle of the now decimated field. Her eyes closed, her hands clasped she kneeled on the ground and withdrew her daggers. Plunging them into the blackened soil, she began to utter the words of the prayer. Chanting them three and four times until finally she sat there silent. Moments passed while she concentrated and then she plunged her fists into the soil itself and let it trickle while repeating that chant once again. No lights, no great effects, she simply stood up, pulled out her daggers and nodded. "It's done." Then she brushed off her hands and her skirt, sheathed her daggers and strolled off the field.

Malik nodded.
"Then lets get out of here. and make sure Laudi gets out of whatever cell she's in too."
That was said to a necromancer whom nodded and went to do as he was instructed. the ogres came behind, most of them munching on a variously roasted former souless bodypart or parts. no need for masks now.
"We'll let the soulless dwell here. if they spread, they spread. and we'll deal with it when and if we need to."
Back to Nightmare and Serino, where Sevilin was waiting. and up on nightmare with a groan and spitting up more blood, and helping piper as well. then tiem ot go home, turning what was left of his forces back down the the way they came. maybe a third of what had been brought had actually survived the encounter, not bad considering how vastly outnumbered they had been.

"If you thought you were grounded before...you didn't know the half of it." Malik, Malik, Malik...all banged up and still trying to keep hold of his impressions that he made on those around him. The sturdy as mithril leader and what not...but she knew better. She knew how'd he want things done when they got back too. It would be the whole cleric fight which he would win. Sure he may want one easily enough for himself but she still wouldn't be happy about. She'd be a bit bruised, had a few burns from over heated armor, but she was in no way as banged up as the other elves in company. Another reminder of just how surface elven she was really.
Sevilin had merely waited for them to come back, letting Zahara mount up and then pulling up behind her, facing away from her in normal fashion, Nym lying on his arm still. He was quiet, didn't care what went down at this point. The moment they got back to the fortress he was splitting for his own place anyway.

She was just tired, tired and hungry and beaten and still pissy. She stroked Serino gently, because it calmed her and let out a long sigh, shifting a bit to make herself more comfortable. Things were finally over which was a good thing. It had taken far too long for that battle and she was still upset over the many things that had happened. The only reason she'd even come on this journey was to bless the fields. Malik had said nothing about a fight, but then when she'd really wanted to fight it had been stolen from her. She had to still work with Sevilin and now that the lust and rage of battle was gone, her instincts would set in with massive force. Another sigh, life was just peachy.

Malik himself was quiet, save for the occasional spitting up blood, for the trek back. of course once back, everything was as it should be. the fortress rebuilt, from the damage the orcs had done. Malik let piper get off first, and then slid himself from nightmare, letting her and Serino go to thier foals. once inside the fortress itself, he only asked for a cleric, before spitting up more blood, though that was spat at the base of a houseplat as to avoid getting it on the floor anymore than needed.
"Zahara..why don't you go with Sevilin. I'm sure runemages have thier own methods of healing, so it would benifit you to see how that is handled first hand, since Sevilin must be injured after that Jehereg fell on him. even if it's just some minro bruising."

See, she knew how it worked Malik always wanted his clerics. Now the real question was if one was pushed on her, would she fight it this time? Piper hadn't decided yet. Horses were sent off to tend to themselves seeing as they were fully capable of that. Sevilin took his grumpy self off already and she was just fine with that...Piper was starting to regard him in the way she regarded Tarathiel. Though she was really just standing quiet beside Malik in that observant idly worried manner as she let the drow start into it. Oh yes, she saw the potiental figth in that statement.
Sevilin had done what he had promised himself, moment he slid off that horse he was already walking away going back to the ignorance of those he was associated with. Certinally not the most social creature was he?
In his head it went step, ow, step ow, step ow. Of course outwardly speaking he was silent as ever. Except for the blood, laceratiosn, ripped clothing and limp he was sporting, one wouldn't think him in any kind of battle. But oh was that all going to be sore later...and to think he had about two miles to limp before he got hime. Joy.

She blinked, what now? You want me to go with...who?! Malik was out of his mind. And it wouldn't be a good scene. She watched him start disappearing off and ground her teeth. Malik was injured and in no mood to fight with her so she merely slipped off Serino, gave him teh other half of the apple that she had in her bag and sighed. "Fine." Piper woul dhit her if she got Malik upset and with Sevilin being the only one who knew where he lived she needed to catch up to him. Well, Nym knew too but that wasn't going to do her much good. So she dropped the hammer off with one of the slaves and ran to catch up to Sev. She stayed far enough back that he'd know she was there but she dind't want to make conversation with him, polite or otherwise.

A blink from her. Wow, no fighting? They must of been really worn out then because she knew Zahara would want to fight that one...first off it was order barking from Malik and secondly she didn't want to be around Sevilin. But attention back to Malik without being overly bearing about it.
She was stalking him...stalking him across the Underdark like a lazy big cat stalks a lame animal across the land. Not bothering to hide, just far away enough to prevent direct immediate interactions, just waiting for that folly in footing or that look of vulnerability to come over it's meal.
Wretched female...looked like she was in it for the long haul to. Well fine then....no way in hell he was going to let her follow him all the way back home...he liked the fact that no one knew where it was. So he stopped, pivoting on his heel to face her, hands fisted at his sides, Nym lying half out on his shoulder. Didn't say a word, didn't need words to speak the obvious question to the woman.

She jerked to a stop when she saw him stop and pull a feminine stance much like the one she usually used with her hands on her hips except she usually had a boot tapping to add to teh effect. Now why had he stopped? Irritating Drow. She walked closer and then stopped and quirked an eyebrow. "It doesnt' do any good to argue. I'm coming with you and if you try to lose me you're only going to piss me off. Just walk and I'll leave you alone as much as possible." By Lloth why did this have to happen to her?

That got a raised eyebrow from him. She was what now? "You said you're doing what? I think quite the contrary. You can turn yourself right back around and go back to that surface loving drow and his surface trash. I don't have time to babysit anyway. Go away."
Thus he turned and took to walking...limping...whichever, but slowly by normal standards of both actions, head slighly turned so that his ears better caught sounds of her own movement. Why in the hell did she think she was coming with him?

The necromancers would find Laudi in a cell, chained to a wall, wearing black silks much like Aella had once worn. She looked like she had been through some severe beatings, as well rape and mutilation. Numerous cuts and gashes spoke of a cruel debauchery. Tahru hung from the wall in a single cuff, her inguries appearing similar.
Moonstone smiled. "Oh look, you're finally taking a bath."
He shrugged. "They might, they might not. Either way, I think I can servive. Plus, being here will help me build up an immunity, and maybe help me adjust to the underdark a bit." He still wasn't all that found of it.
He exchanged the broom for a rag and started to scrub some grim out of a corner. "Are you a kidding? I'm a walking, talking teddy near. I'll just avoid toothy smiles. Besides, all I have to do is dress differently. Studies from back home show that docters who wear glasses are more trusted than those who don't. And those who wear white jackets are reported as looking clean and friendly. I'm sure the same things will apply here as well."

She sighed, of course he was going to make this different. She didn't need a babysitter, thank you very much and she was coming with him whether he liked it or not because that was what Malik had told her to do and dammit she wasn't in the mood to argue and she was trying to be the obedient one. Muttering some things under her breath she sighed with relief when he started back up again and kept on following him as though he'd never spoken. Time was not on her side, she needed to reverie, she needed a nice bath, she needed some time to decompress after that battle and the subsequent rage it had brought on and he was not only going to provide all of that for her, he was going to smile while doing it dammit!
