He sighed heavily at that, looking down at the girls body again. He gently ran a hand through her hair again, his manner affectionate. "Yes. She knew that they wouldn't have their lives to live for anything else. So, they wished to give it to me. That was Priya's reason." He fell quiet then, thinking about Presea again. "Presea loved me. That was her main reason for giving her life for me." He added quietly, bowing his head again. "I was never happy about what we asked of those around us, and most of us weren't. That is why many ended up dying rather than using this way to keep living."

His pen froze, looking up Kai saw the affection for Preasea in his eyes. He loved her... After a moment an idea hit Kai, clearing his throat he decided to see what came of it. "How much do you know about the situation here, now I mean?"

He watched Presea's body move, her hand touching his that was made of paper. It made his eyes soften further before they became rather aloof again, looking down to Kai at his question. "Everything. All that Priya knows, I know. After all, I was her son and carried the soul of her Ancient. So, I know that the Bolygó evő is coming again, I know that Arya is working on a telepathic jammer for you. Her brother is looking for my brethren that are left. That there is tension back at the human encampment. Why do you ask?"

Kai fiddled with his ear as he cleared his throat. "Well... I was wondering if there is anything that you know of that could help us." Kai straightened up in his seat and leaned forward. "Your people were more advance in their time then all our people our now! Sure there was once something that could help us. Save not only us, but that which you created to save yourself." he spoke adamantly. If there was something, maybe then all hope wasn't lost. Maybe they could fight this Planet eater and win.

Straightening, his hand gave Presea's a gentle squeeze, he knew that Priya was sitting back for now. I see.... So he doesn't know. Alright. "Us Ancients are what will act as a defense for this planet. We have a link between us so we would know when another of us were around. So, four of us will take positions around your planet and access that link. It will amplify our power into a huge shield that will hold the Planet Eater at bay. Well, at least those of us who remained of Telli Delon and hold the ability to use magic. But you will also need Arya and her brother. We have a machine that we designed since our prophets saw such an even coming. The rest of us will be controlling that beam, but Arya and Malachai will have to sacrifice themselves in order to power the machine. Not their flesh, but all of their magic, their souls. Normally we would only need one Ancient to help us with this task, but we need all of us just to control it and focus the blast. They knew what they needed to do when they became a Magas Angyal, or High Angel in the common tongue. Priya believes you are ready to know now. This is what she didn't want to tell you before. The angels made something similar to it, but it won't be as powerful. I'm terribly sorry to bear such news." He meant it, he knew how the two of them felt about each other.

Kai was shocked. He couldn't say anything, couldn't move, couldn't even breath... He'd lose Ayra. He'd lose apart of himself. He'd lose the one thing that he was willing to die for... And there was nothing he could do about it. Kai felt like crying, like tearing apart the room. He felt weak, angry, sad, and unreal. Like all of this was just some horribly sick game that the Ancients made up. Another one of their demented experiments to play out as they sat back and watched for the outcome. But everything kept coming back to one simple thought... He'd lose Ayra.

Priya opened her eyes, looking to Kai with a rather pained expression. "Jehovah, that was in poor taste. You shouldn't have told him yet. Kai, the only other option besides using Arya and Malachai, would be the Mother Goddess to use what power she has left to power the cannon. But you know the outcome of that. The entire planet would die. I want there to be another way too, but...I can't see one.... I'm so sorry..." She felt tears in her eyes, bowing her head, staring the floor in defeat.
Jehovah looked down at Priya when she spoke, closing his eyes when she spoke to Kai, remembering how Presea had been... what that pain was like. "Kai, all I can say is that you should try to find someone as powerful as them. If you want to save them both, find two people or more than two people that will equal their strength. I have been in your shoes, i know how that feels, I'm sorry to bring such news to you. Truly, I am." He said softly, his golden eyes loosing some of their brilliance.

Kai clenched his teeth, hi heart ached even thinking about what was to come. "Would someone with power over the elements suffice to fill in for one of them?" he asked, barely above a whispered as he looked at the floor. He still couldn't move, not until he knew he'd have a chance to save her.

Jehovah touched Priya's shoulder, telling her to relax again. "That would only fill 1/4 of their power. Combined with Malachai, you'd need one more person." He said softly, observing the neko boy with an inward sigh.

Kai suppressed a growl. He would save Ayra if he had to search this planet over... "What kind of person would be needed to fill in the spot then?" he asked, finally looking up at the apparition.

Interesting, so he didn't seem that concerned about losing his best friend. Jehovah sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. "Someone whose power would make it balance out to equal what Arya's power is. So, either one other person that has 1/4 her power like you and then another with 1/2 of her power. Or someone with 3/4 of her power. Then she will be spared. However, she will still lose her brother and you. Are you sure you are willing to do that for her?" He asked, because there would be no going back after doing such an action.

"Mal would kill me if I didn't." Kai joked with a sad smile. "Either way I'd die on that day. I'd rather save someone and go down swinging." he stated.

Jehovah raised an eyebrow, but nodded a little. He had no siblings to speak of and so hardly understood. But, in a way, he did. "The future is never certain unless you know something more than I do. Which would involve the artifact of the Ginnungagap that has been plaguing you. Mal has accepted his fate in either case. He has no special someone like you and Arya." He murmured, looking down to Priya whom had fallen still.
Priya raised her head, her eyes distant and seemingly glazed over, shaking her head a little as the violet color of her eyes became opal. "One other..... Natasya.... failed Ancient experiment. Like Malachai. Tried recreating the Ancients and instead made them who are immortal and aren't killed so easily." She spoke, her eyes closing before she blinked a little confused.

Kai leaned forward in his chair toward Priya. "What do you mean?" he asked, taking her hand when she looked confused. "Priya are you alright?" he asked concerned. "Perhaps I should take you back."

Priya blinked at his question, noticing how Jehovah was looking at her, tilting her head. Glancing down to their hands, she furrowed her brows, shaking her head at his offer to take her back. "No... no, I'm fine. Did I say something just now? What just happened?" She asked, not knowing in all honesty why Kai had been looking at her like that.
