Cecilia followed behind Loralei, "Yes, though I can't remember who's house it was that looked like it."
Alucard flew off the handle and perched himself on Loralei's shoulder again, "I can practice while you cook, so maybe you won't have to teach me."
"Alu..I think it will be safer if you had Loralei teach you.."

"Yes... we don't want you flying into the fire, now do we?" Loralei asked, a grin on her face. She turned back to face Cecilia.
"I wonder why... I designed it myself..." She bit her lip and walked up to the door, opening it. "Though.. there was ... one other house I designed..."

Alucard gave a small squeak. The thought of flying right into a fire and burning to death terrified him. He moved closer to Loralei's head, "..."
"Ah! I see, that must be why," Cecilia laughed.

Loralei gave Alucard a small smile. "I'll make sure the fire doesn't get you, okay?" She bit her lip, then looked about the room sadly.
"It really is the exact replica, I suppose..." she squeaked out, looking about herself.

"So I guess you made the other house for someone else, or yourself?" Cecilia looked at the decorations and furnishings, and felt it was truly a place where she could be safe for the time she was at Delphi.

"It was for... someone else..."she said softly. Loralei looked down at her hands, thinking back when the Edict of Cleansing had only just begun... back when she still had an apprentice who didn't mind the fact that she had wings...
Loralei looked up from the designs on the table, sighing in satisfaction. She stretched herself out, and looked up when a boy slightly younger than she came into the room. She brightened, he always seemed to have that effect on her.
"Look, Sai, I've finished the designs for your house~" Loralei grinned, looking up into the boy's expectant face. He put down his apprentice tome of spells, and took up the design.
"Loralei... it's... beautiful." Sai sighed in approval. She grinned at him happily. "I can't wait until they begin construction."
They talked animatedly for a few moments about Sai's new home, which his parents decided that they would pay for so that he may house near his tutor.
Loralei sighed, shaking her head. That was a long time ago...

"A friend maybe? They must really love the work. I can see you've put much heart into making such a lovely home." Cecilia smiled.
Alucard got bored of the conversation and flew off of Loralei's shoulder and perched himself at the top of a chair. He found he didn't like adult conversations much, but he then eyed the desserts still in the kitchen.

"Yes... it was for... a friend..." Loralei whispered. She felt her eyes tearing up, and, out of embarrassment, looked away. "That was a long time ago..." she whispered.
"Anyway." Loralei collected herself, and did her best to look about at the others without them noticing that she had tears in her eyes. "Who wants cookies?"

"Cookies!!!!" Alucard flapped his wings excitedly and accidentally stumbled forward and tumbled down the chair, and found himself lying belly side down on the cushion.

"Are you all right there, sweetie?" Loralei asked, her eyes widening. "Maybe you should change back into yourself... you might wind up with fewer injuries..." She bit her lip, something like motherly concern was in her voice. Loralei looked to Cecilia for support.

"That's true. I think you may be able to handle yourself better in a body you're more familiar with," Cecilia walked over to Alucard, picked him up slightly and set him back down on his feet.
"Aw..but I still want to practice flying though.." Alucard whined defiantly.

Loralei took one look at Alucard and knew that she couldn't protest. "Fine. As long as you're not in the kitchen... or anywhere with sharp, breakable things... or outside...have fun." She waved him off, hoping to gain some alone time in the kitchen. Loralei had a few things to think about... preferably on her own.

"Yay!!" Alucard got up and flew around Cecilia and then flew upstairs.
"Alu!" Cecilia yelled after hearing the noise of things crashing into the floor upstairs.

"Oh boy. I made a mistake..." Loralei sighed, then began to trudge up the stairs. "Sweetie...? What are you doing up there?"

Alucard had accidentally smashed into the lamp desk, which made it fall to the ground and made the crashing noises. He had actually hurt himself and remained on the floor. The tendrils wrapped around him and then he was back to being a big, mean crow, "Ow........"
