"Don't be mean just because you're not feeling well. And stop thinking on your next enemy, you'll end up taxing yourself too much." Really, sometimes she felt like his mother. Had to tell him when he had enough and she'd like nothing more than to just go home and rest some at this point, even if it was for a breif moment. But good, place was on it's way to being burned down.

Onyx crawled long the wall, claws were good for that sort of thing, and poked his head in a window.

"Aww. isn't that sweet. the new couple playing doctor still? gotten any good examinations in?"

A chuckle, ears hanging batlike from being upside down, before crawling into the room through the window and dropping to his feet on the ground.

"Malik went to face the Lich and the cornfields, and hasn't come back yet that I know of. I saw teh Oracle, and did some fishing for my answer..so how about you two? how's the medical field treating you here?"

Moonstone ignored most of what his brother said. He didn't really feel like giving the guy any more material to work with.

"We haven't opened yet. This place needs a lot of maintenance before we open the doors to the public."

Currently, he was brushing out cobwebs from corners with a broom. "Really? Bout time he moved. Fishing for an answer? That's rather metephorical."

"Perhaps. but I got my answer."

Onyx crossed his arms and leaned on the wall, fluttering his wings some, a few more feathers coming out. that was beginging to both annoy, and concern him.

"you know..if this goes good..that Captian is going to be another drow to deal with, rather than a half trusted ally."

"Hmm? If what goes well?" He leaned on his broom a bit, looking over at his brother. "And why are you molting so much? It's not really the season for it."

"Hey!" kat yelled from the other side of the room. "less chatty more scrubby!" She was currently on he rhands an needs covered in saop and water trying to clean the filth from the floor.

"I don't know. but it's getting annoying."

then a shake of his head.

"you haven't been aroudn enough I guess, with your new medical practice. they are going to try and kill the lich. that's what all teh hubbub and such is about. some kinda demi-god lunatic that liched himself for some reason and can grow people and stuff. wierdo. they are going to try to kill him, and then all the nice guy how are yous are going to go away again."

a smirk.

"I woudln't be surprised if that...captian....came knocking here looking for more puppets to own."

Moonstone waved at Kat. Yeah yeah, he knew, and went back to sweeping out cobwebs. He frowned. "I see."

Then he shrugged. "We're setting up for the benifit of everybody. If the drow captain were to come in for assitance, or any of his crew for that matter, we would help him." He scratched behind his ear. "I really can't see how manipulating us would have any advantages."

Okay, so sailing a ship wasn't easy. She ever really thought it would be, but with her limited training in anything but her staff, the only value she had on this ship were her eyes. Being half elven, she had better than human eyesite, though not as good as elven. Which was too bad, since elves were on bored.

Still, she was the first to see the figure as they hugged the shore, not far from where they had first docked.

They let out the ankor, and let Aella go ashore. A woman was collecting see weed, which she may have been trying to grow. A child was on her back, but she was coughing terribley. She was sick, obviously, blood comming out on her hands, and the child appeared to have a fever.

The woman was not very old, only thirty or so. "Mame! What are you doing out, sick like this?" The woman couldn't answer for her coughing, although she grabbed Aella's sleeve and fisted her hand, trying to stay standing.

Aella called back to the ship for help, though she wasn't certain that they could here her form that distance. A look aroudn the terrain, where were they anyway?

Celeste watched Aella from the helm of the ship, and looked to the nearest elf and asked him to take over. Within moments, Celeste was flying through the air using a minor spell she knew.

Landing next to Aella, she quickly understood the problem. "This is no ordinary illness, do you know a Healer who has advanced knowledge of disease?" She asked calmly. Though hardened by the loss of her nation and all of her realatives, she retained her good nature unlike her cohort Elric.

Poor woman. And the kid too.

Aella sighed, tugging at her topknot a bit. "The only one I can think of is Warhammer. Earth Mother relations and all that." She was glad that Celeste wanted to help. Kind of felt good after being used for so long. She couldn't heal hereslf, so why not heal others, eh?

"Warhammer is still within the Rings, so I cannot use Message to contact him directly. I believe that my cohort, Elric is still on the walls. It would be foolish to place him anywhere else, perhaps I can signal him... That would not work well, for the barrier extends to the tip of the outer wall..." She pondered for a moment.

"We are not so far from there, I will go and fetch Warhammer. Stay here with this woman, and try to help her as best as you can." Celeste bent over and examined the wounds, "It would be best not to touch her, the illness appears to be an infection." She was guessing, but it was always better to be safe than sorry. "I'll return as soon as I can with the minotaur." Without waiting for a reply, the elf was up into the air agian, and speeding off.

"Alright."

She sighed. She could say not to touch the woman, but Aella had a hard time not doing that. First, the woman ahd a child with her. The kid looked a bit cold in his little harness, and the woman certanly wasn't comfortable. Screw it then.

She unhooked the little bundle from the woman's back, held the kid close to her while she convincd the woman to lay onthe ground, on Aella's new jacket. "Try not to move too much. We'll get you some help. Okay?"

She held the child close to her chest to try and keep it warm. He had a fevor for certain, and he shivered against her.

Momements may have seemed like hours, hours may have seemed like moments, but most certainly, the shifting grounds brought forth a large earthen sphere which retracted and presented Warhammer, along with two surface elves. Celeste pointed to the woman and child, and frowned somewhat at Aella.

"Looks like good nature ousted good sense." The she-elf smiled. Elric looked at the two sickly, and frowned somewhat. Then, as though some great weight was lifted from his shoulders, he smiled.

"Well, I am glade you need his help, for I was begining to sour in those walls. No matter how graceful and pious the Oracle may be, the place smelled rank with Drow and evil."

"Our duty now is to promote the protection of the Chosen of the Earth Mother, Elric Archer, we cannot say no to any ally in that quest."

"Why-" Elric stopped his own question, knowing full well that his own father would have stood before the gates of hell to protect such people.

Warhammer knelt beside the woman, and inspected her wounds and symptoms. He began to pray, then placed a hand on the woman's head. "We will need to take refuge. This may take a long while."

Aella smiled back. "When you have the will to do nothing, nothing gets done, right?" Aella smiled warmly at Warhammer, glad that both him and the somewhat short-tempered Elric had agreed to come help.

"We can take her back to the ship, it would be warmer there." A glance at Celeste. "Or, if you prefer, caves riddle the udnerground. I'm sure we could find one and light a fire."
