"sometimes, Zahara, I question if you have a brain in your skull. the Lich being destroyed, with any luck, means the alliances formed to counter him will dissolve. that means Kimmuriel is no longer our ally, but another potential enemy, adn his puppet's rule in Deepwater and Honour's Field. He's a drow prince, so chances are he can get some backing from the drow empire, and from any and all siblings due to being the 'son of lloth'."
A look back at the fields while the Ogre came back with a ogre sized set of torches.
"and I was thinking about bolstering our position some by owning a field to literally grow replacements. but, since I'm in no condition to be fighting about it, then we'll burn it down."
the Ogre heard the word 'burn' and walked over, first poking at the pod. Ooo it moves. and there's something..sniff sniff...alive in it. barbeque? yummy. and started setting fire to the place, already drooling at the thought of cooked meat as far as the eye can see.
Onyx was still sitting out front, drumming his fingers on the top of his seafood delivery basket, waiting. why hadn't they said anythign when he annouced he was back. they just ignoring him?
"Hey! I got a delivery here for the Oracle! twenty pounds of shellfish type seafood you guys gunna let me in or what?!"
A grumble and back to sitting and drumming his fingers.

"Sir, The Lich is no more. The energy signiture that matched his body is no more." The drow wizard informed Kimmuriel.
"Excellent. That means all is ready for my plan..." Kimmuriel laughed evilly.

Onyx snarled back up at him.
"I did my part, now you let me in to see the Oracle! She promised me an answer for twenty pounds of shellfish!"
Some snarls and growls that were probably a stream of cursewords in his own native tongue. a bolt of demonic energy just tossed into the wall for venting purpose.
"She promised!"
More snarling before sitting right back in his former spot, drumming his fingers again.

The bolt, of course, did not do any damage.
Tanundra, in his human form and wearing clothes similar to what Din had, walked out from around the corner of the building. He couldn't speak to Onyx, so he waved.
He stepped up to the sitting vah, looking down at him and raising an eyebrow.

Onyx looked up, sniffed, and ear's moved forward some.
"Tanundra. the dragon."
That raised eyebrow look he was used to from other people. so he pulled back the squid a bit to some all teh shellfish and crabs and lobsters.
"The Oracle promised me and answer for twenty pounds of shellfish. I'm here, and I got the shellfish but that.." said loud enough for him to here, "Long eared polecat..won't let me in to see her."

He chuckled. Who else would it be?
He looked from the vah to the drow on the building's front. Well, he couldn't really do much about. So he shrugged. Digging into his pocket, he handed Onyx a note.
Simple note. It said '30%.'

He sat in the chair and waited paitently. He would play their game for now, but when the time was right, it would become his game.
The clerk opened the door, "Th-hhank you for waiting." He regained his composure after his initial fear, The drow sitting before him had probably killed more than his days in men, dragons, and other foul beasts.
"Excellent." The drow spoke common as though it were his first language, and on top of that, as though he were very educated to top it off. Kimmuriel rose from his seat and walked into the audience chamber, where Jiscal was waiting to recieve him.
"You toy with my sensibilities, waiting patiently for your turn to speak with me instead of barging into my office like you own the place."
"Well, respect is earned and not taken." Kimmuriel replied. "All is set for phase Omega."
"Phase Omega?" Jiscal asked, his voice strongly indicating the question.
Which of course, Kimmuriel simply ignored. "Yes, Phase Omega."
"What are you talking about?"
"OH, good, you are keeping up the secracy. Excellent, we don't know what spies your enemy Jafar Waterman has lurking about your shadows..."
"Who's Jafar Waterman?" Jiscal asked, the name was familiar but he could not place a face to it.
"Oh, yes, keep up the good work. I'll come see you again later." Kimmuriel bowed and exited the chamber, leaving a very shocked and afriad Jiscal behind.

Things had taken an unexpected lull for the moment. It would not last long. People were just resting from the last few dasy of hard work, rebuilding the city was not an easy task after all. They were still a long way from thriving, and were hardly even self-sustaining yet.
Gerard cracked his back as he sat down in his...well, it was hardly an office of any kind. More like a room with a small table and single chair where he could meet with other important people in private, work out details and what not. He knew it would not be long before someone else demanded his attention. It hd been that way since his coronation.

"Hello, Raven." Tarathiel greeted as the door flung open, "I just thought I would swing by and see how things were going, as I invested some time and effort into your consolidation effort." The drow smiled warmly. He was wearing his usually clothes and armour, except his cloak was made from what appeared to be black scales. Thus, unlike his normally half-to almost invisible self, he was completely visible. "May I come in? I believe you would like to know who I am, and How I helped you."

He blinked. At first he thought this man had confused him with someone else, then he thought that the name had a connection with something he was not aware of.
"My efforts?" The fact that this guy was a drow gave him pause, and he might not have let the man in. But then, if the drow wanted to kill him, there was little Gerard could do to stop him. He stepped back a moment. "Alright."

The drow bowed politely, "I am Prince Kimmuriel Daermon N'a'shezbaernon, but usually I am called Captain Tarathiel." The black skinned elf smiled, and walked into the little makeshift office.
"Not bad, all things considered." Turning to look at the young newblood noble. "What would you like to know first?"

"I would sell the table anf work on the floor. But my commrads will not allow it."
He rubbed at the back of his neck, wonderign what this was all aobut. What would he like to know? He didn't really need much information.
"What is this about helping me?"
