The silly semi-flightless foul thought he could escape his doom. He gave a good go of it, but he could not escape me, in the end my fangs sank deep into his flesh as I tarred the meat from his bones. He did have his revenge, for after the devouring of the bird I feel under his last spell, and fell into a deep sleep that I didn’t awake from until sometime the next day.

Meh. I feel lifeless at the moment. like the chest has been completely ripped out of meh body. So that's what a zombie feels like when you shoot it in the torso....

I've recently started playing Vampire: The Masquerade with the group I usually play D&D with. Any of y'all ever play?

Barely did more than create our characters last time. Seemed like an interesting game, though it might be a little more restrictive than I generally like. We'll see.

Don’t despair Nelo, it makes me sad.
I played The Masquerade for a short bit. The host was my SW and D&D GM and he had a really kick a** character for me to play. I got to drive around the play area in my truck and I was armed with a battery-powered water gun. I would pull up to the curb when I saw a group of players, roll down my window, and ask if they were playing in the game. If they said yes, I would tell them that they are now facing a physical challenge, heft my weapon out the window, and sock the lot of them. “Physical challenge, holly water!” I would say then drive off yelling at them that they now needed to seek out the host of the game and inform him that they had been shot by a hunter. Needless to say, I wasn’t very popular with the players, but the host loved it. Much like when he ran a boffergame and I was the main wondering monster that hunted down the players. Didn’t care if I died, I had a lot of monsters to play.

You guys made me want to play the RPG again.
Had an idea for a "base defense" scenario, where we had to defend an outpost from attackers till an evac shuttle arrived.
