This place is like a TV Channel. Every morning when I wake up I can look in here to catch "Sigil Live!".

Just like Bob and Tom waking me every morning.

Go to bed folks, show's over.

s**t is hilarious today.

man I had a dream last night where you and I ran a RP thread where every character was a variation of Tres.

s**t was crazy.

Sigil that is rediculous you strike the haft with the blade and slide it through the beard of the axe and twist in the direction you want it to go.

As for the force applied to your shield, sure and you go flying across the arena. Your shield becomes a surface to resist the attack, the attack strikes and the force of the telekinetic umph throws you and your fancy glowing bikini into the nearest solid object.

Good thing it's practically impossible to parry an axe with a sword and her armor absorbs blunt force (which is what a vibration is).

OK, see, I was with you on axes in the hands of a skilled user being nothing to scoff at, but this?

lol

Maybe if you expect the sword user will let you control his weapon. But a sword can be just as deadly in the bind if you know what to do with it.

Don't forget the weight of the axes, and the range they provide forming a disadvantage on a bind.

That sounds awesome.

Its just the inside of Tres's mind where his aspects of his personality are all represented by a single individual.

Well no s**t, if you don't actually grade profiles of course you can't fix a character.

Darth, that's pretty much all you keep saying.

So my answer to that is: we grade to get rid of the obvious things. I do what I can to find anything in profiles that can be abused, but there will still be stuff that get through. Slash had this problem in the last round. We judges talked to him and we said we're going to judge him based on what's in the fight, and not punish him for what was in his profile. That's how I'm going to judge Aetyra's fight. The only thing to take away from her profile, which no other profile really has, is that she has higher than normal endurance in battle. This just means to us judges "she can last longer in a fight than those of her physical build, but she's still vulnerable to the usual stamina effects of any other fighter."

That's the point of what I've been trying to say to you. I don't care for what she got in with. I care for how she uses it. And if by the mere chance she got in with a terribly powerful ability, as judges, we have the right to fix it, just as I did to the Chains of Ice ability of Aetyra. I had to make the call as a judge for the better of the fight itself and for the tournament.

So you have to stop beating on your system where everything is suppose to work in this special way of yours. This is a make believe tournament where we pit make believe fighters against each other. We judges writing and how logical the fight is between two characters in a designated fighting arena. There's three people who are coming together and deciding which fighter was the most believable in each fight and letting them move on. If that fighter won ic, then they have a greater chance of proceeding unless a player forfeit willingly.

That's how the cookie crumbles. That's how the cake falls. That's how the gumdrops drop. And that's how Mc Hammer shuffles.

In all seriousness Grim, I have no beef with you regarding your concerns about my character. But my expectation was that I was here to be competitive first and collaborative second. I tried and am trying to deliver a good read, and an interesting character that the reader can like, and maybe even somewhat relate to. But at the end of the day I'm here to claim the prize, and I do not think it is unfair or unsportsmanlike of me to do what I can within the rules given to ensure that victory. I would expect no less of my opponent.

That said, I am reasonable enough and sharp-witted enough to understand that popular opinion is that my character is above the power level that most other people entered at. This does not make me a d**k, though, nor should playing to her strengths. It would not be fair to my previous opponents to nerf her now. I've also done my absolute best to avoid cheese insofar as building charges and hiding abilities... I've been entirely straightforward about what everything my character has, does.

So my message to you is that I don't believe I deserve such heat for adhering to a playstyle that suits me, and I don't wish to be in a quarrel with you or anyone else over it.

Disadvantage.. to the axe user? Yeah. Definitely.

Then again a good axe user knows to compensate for and handle that weight.

But... *wise, far-off stare* ...part of being one with the sword is knowing when to meet strength with weakness, and weakness with strength.

You still have much to learn. Go do 300 push-ups, and carry water back and forth from the well until sundown.

If this is true, how the ******** did you let in Sigil's build, or my build. Neither build has a fatigue system, both allow for technique spamming within the allowance for cool down.

I dont get it...

Yes, disadvantage for the axe user. If you actually manage to get in a bind, the slimmer profile of the blade allows to to do some neat twisty stuff, and with the range being operable for the sword user, s**t goes haywire for the axe user.

Stabby s**t.
