hmm my alchemist... err *cough* biochemist wont be like FMA ones.
My arcanists wont be your usual wizards either.
The only classes i made normal were knight and paladin to be serious... everything else is... unusual.

How are they going to be different? Well, I can see a bunch of ways for the alchemists to be different but... wizards? There's so many different types of wizards that are used often that it seems pretty hard to think up of an unusual kind.

Wizards in books... mythology... legends... (goes on for half an hour) tend to just create their magic. Thus its called magic. they would tend to create things such as fire balls.
I had to read a lot and created a form of pure energy as their weapon though its been used in many ways mine works stranger. Their powers are dumbed down a bit in ways but they also are incredibly powerful.

I know of a couple of mmorpgs/mangas/animes/whatever that don't have wands or staffs for the wizards... I think. Yeah, XXXHolic if we consider Yuuko as a witch and DOMO where the wizards burn scrolls to attack. Tsubasa Chronicles, too, but that can't really count because it's tied in with XXXHolic.
But, I do get what your saying, and the pure energy idea sounds interesting. Exactly how is it used? Do they control it to form various shapes to attack and defend with or is it used to link up with the natural energy of the area around them in order to manipulate nature or is it used in some other way?
Are you sure that it's not because you've been staring at the computer screen, reading tiny words, for way to long xd .

I was reading books since ... err 5 am... I've been like that since March when I first started work on the guild.
The form the energy but they have been known to tap into the natural elements to partially use them.
Elementists have further control over the elements to the point of bending and shaping them by will.
Necromancers are also a bit straight forward but they have their uniqueness. I'm sure getting their arm chopped off and growing a skeletal arm aint unique but there are stranger skills from them.
Swordmasters are actually technically weapon masters.
The minstrels have stranger powers crossing over classes depending on their song but they do have sound based attacks and one angry one using a violin will be scary.
My ninjas are... more like the ninjas you would hear about with magical powers xd .

rusbob13 Why does the chatroom die when I come in? >.> Murderer!!!! The crowning glory of this guild would still be the weapons. I'll try to make a weapon style FOR EVERY KNOWN WEAPON... and usually not just one style BUT SOMETIMES UP TO 5. Its actaualy hurting my head. Heck even STICK will have a fighting style.

Actually I'm only 9% done with the guild but I'll open the guild in 5 hours when it reaches 10% and is actually working xd
Another thing is I made its story from scratch xd
Bloodlines are going to be a major factor.
Kage... I'll even re-create Soul Calibur Voldo's style if I must
