Almost a month passed and soon the raven demon returned to the school in the dead of night, per request of the principal. The god brought his little princess back to Mesilici. Of course her wardrobe had changed. From the black and punkish clothes she wore to some rather royal robes of gold and red. But she didn't seem to mind as she came back into the foyer of the school where her little adventure had began.

Icarus had asked where Jethrow is after everyone stopped looking at her weird because of her clothes. But she was surprised to hear he was in the medical wing. And once she came down there, she found out why. And she was not pleased. He was beaten up and looked like he had gotten in a lot of fights. This vampire was so dead. The girl stomped over to him and slapped him across the face, completely ignoring Sarah. "What in all the heavens and stars has gotten into you?!"

Icarus fumed as the vampire kind of blew her off. She siezed him by his collar and shook him a little. "I leave for a few weeks and you go nuttier than a ton of peanuts! I am your friend! I at least deserve an explanation! Not some flippant, non-commital blow off!" she yelled, looking at the vampire. Was he really going to do this to her? Shut her out like this? Icarus was going to try to not let that happen. She didn't want to lose a friend...

Icarus released the boy as he yelled at her. Well that answered her question... Any question in her mind of anything more than her being a blood bank was unchallengablly answered. She was nothing to the vampire. The girl sighed slightly. She had hoped... Just... Maybe he... "Alright. Fine. Be this way. I was hoping maybe we could have been friends, but I see you don't want to cross that bridge with me. Maybe it's best if we just avoid each other. Let's see you pull yourself out of the hole you've dug. I'll be sure to put a grave marker on it." she said a bit sharply, but flatly. His attitude had told her everything. She had hoped... They could have been together. Maybe just as a little less than boyfriend and girlfriend. But he didn't seem to want that. So the girl left, deciding to go find someone who did want to see her. The Spaniard maybe.

After a while Icarus couldn't find Benjamin or Sophia. She thought they'd be waiting to see her again... So she headed back to her room and sat on her bed. As she sat there, the thoughts of Jethrow and all the secrets she'd shared with him and how close he'd gotten to her rolled in the girl's mind. And it upset her. She began to sob to herself as she continued to think about it. But her little pity time would be interrupted by a fight outside her door. The girl managed to make it looked like she wasn't just crying in her room. And what great timing she managed. She opened the door and nailed both of the fighting boys in the head. She looked around her door and glared at both of them.

She first addressed the soccer jock. "Get your fan club away from my door. Go frolic somewhere else." she said, being a bit civil with them. She then looked to Jethrow, but didn't even bother addressing him. It just hurt her heart to even look in his general direction. She went back into her room and locked the door before flopping on her bed and going back to quietly sobbing to herself.

Icarus hugged one of her pillows as she quietly cried. That is until she heard a knock. Who could possibly be at her door? The girl tried to clear up her face and she went to her door. When she opened it, she got a surprise. There was the vampire that she had just fought with.
