*Mastema's hand found it's way to Nana's hand, resting on it lightly* I know. Of course, you should do anything you can to help yourself, but the one thing you should not do is fear Gabriel. I understand that may perhaps be difficult.... but fear is what beings such as Gabriel strive upon. Besides, you are not alone. Not one being in this citadel wishes to see Gabriel free..... but there are others outside of the citadel who also oppose him. The Black Company and I may have immeasurable differences, but we would both retaliate against Gabriel if needed to. In that area, I can aid you. *He looked towards the ceiling but closed his eyes* What you were "built" for is not relevant. In time, anything can be undone, meaning it is your choice what you are "made" for, originally a witness or not.....

*He nodded* I understand. However, if you desire to defeat Gabriel, or even try for that matter, you must believe that you can. If the change does occur, I do not think you will notice it. A person changes without much awareness of the change, often. I believe you can make the same true of you.

Certainly there are self changes that I can make, but physiological....? I have not the means, nor the knowledge... and currently not the desire. I am.... what I am.

*Mastema still didn't open his eyes* Perhaps, perhaps not. Even in the most careful of planning there is always the unexpected.... I would know. I do not mean to persuade you to dedicate yourself wholely to achieving such a feat. I merely wish you to follow what you believe is best... I could not ask more of you. Many things are different, but a great many of them are intertwined as well. Also, there is no need to make the decision hastily. I will also be prepared for Gabriel should the necessity arise....

Children, and the tired and drainned... There was little more that. I didn't discover who exactly it was who attacks us here, but I doubt they were still there.

Indeed. As of recent, many of their members have become more independant, yet still affiliated. However, I believe many of those who have assaulted the citadel regularly attend the dojo..... including Xol Solaris....

If you do wish to go again, I can create a portable device for emergency teleportation back to the citadel. This is a home, not a prison. If you do wish to go there again, you should not be afraid to. If anything, you can also take the prototype or perhaps Thanatos with you.
