WAIT Ananda!! Free antivirus!! Works great, I've used it the past two years and been virus free: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5EDIT: I've got other helper programs that have kept me virus free as well, but you said you just needed a v-scan, so there it is. Let me know if you're interested in more stuff. I've had 0 virus, 0 infected files, 0 adware, and like 2 things of spyware that got eatten up as soon as I saw them.
