I was still going to use Shinra as the main evil corporation, but I'm sure SSW would make excellent competition for them. Really, though, I'm horrible at these things. You can suggest it to Kaydah if you like, although I'm not sure when she'll be able to reply. Ooh, maybe while your main quest is going on, the two corporations could be fighting eachother and somewhere along the way, you could side with either one, or go renegade and not choose. Like, if you choose to work with Shinra, you have to kill the SSW president, and if you choose SSW, you have to kill the Shinra president, and if you go renegade, you try to make the world a beter place and kill both presidents... just an idea 3nodding

I love the idea of leaving the story open-ended. Of course, the complexity would probably take a little longer to materialize... but it actually works into another idea I had a while ago. There will be 2 versions to the game, one free "lite" copy for downloading online, and one "full" copy for the crew and contributors to sell wherever they live. Idea: In the lite copy, the story is pre-determined. You are renegade, no matter what you do. In the full copy, depending on how you play, one of the two corporations offers to hire you. If you accept, you get less pay, but slightly easier missions and an in-depth story. If you decline, the story stays free-form and you can continue training and doing mini-quests as much as you like until you get another job offer from either side, again depending on how you play. Complexities shooting out of every crack, but it would be cool. I hope I haven't talked myself into doing something I can't, though.

Well, don't say you CAN'T do it, but that would be really col, just don't rush yourself. I'll be glad to help and accept a job, like sidewuest creator or something like that, but if you do need anything, I'll help. Got nothing better to do, I'm waiting until the new series premiere of CSI: New York come on! whee

Oh, and I have 4 more minutes for my download of the free trial of Game Maker 4.0 is done!! I can make a tiny game to entertain me!! WHEE! Well, what messenger are you on, if any? We could talk about it on there so we don't have to waste time posting about it... it takes my comp time to load the windows. Plus, I'm lazy

I am making my own RPG now, but not with Game Maker, it is with another program, I downloaded two others, and it's gonna be FF7 Fangame in older game graphics. I'll post more info.

Just letting you know that CSI:NY Rocks.. but not as much as FFVII..
and that i'll be offline for a week starting tomorrow nite.
i ave my granmother's b-day this weekend
then on sunday when i get back i'm reformatting my comp, and reinstalling windows.
then i have to get everything back on the puter again gonk
that's like 60gigs of files that i was burning to CD all.... day.... long... gonk

Okay, I might have a Demo of my game. It's not exactly FF7 fangame, but it's okay. I'm finishing the boards right now, and adding in secret areas just for the demo. Well, I'll hurry as fast as I can.
