Drag0nK1d Seiichi Kimura Drag0nK1d Seiichi Kimura Souken-Enzu_Twili Seiichi Kimura Seiichi is evolving! DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDdUDdudududDudDuDUDU DU DUDUDUDUUUUU!!!! Seiichi evolved into... CAPTAIN SEIICHI. W00t! X3 Captain Seiichi Learned "Follow Me" XDDD Kaptain Seiichi also learned fire punch... So the next time he punches you... You are... FIRED. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!~ CAPTAIN SEIICHI's ability has also changed... (you can fill it in because I got nothin) Seiichi´s ability is now INTIMIDATE. He makes new employees feel small and insignificant. How bout EPIC PWNAGE instead? As for the 'employees feeling small & insignificant', why didn't you do that to me? Is it because of my knowledge of a s**t-ton of pokemon from the games? Or is it your jealous that I know how to pwn with a Meganium? You use Meganium too? OMFG. You have my respect, good sir. You are the first person, other than me, i have ever met who likes Meganium and respects it as a good pokémon. And my ability only affects n00b type pokémon.

Hell of a lot better than bleedin Tododile in many regards... yet my 21 year-old brother says otherwise & we always get into this fight about the 2. Both you & I share the same properties anyway... we're n00b pwners, but I happen to have OUTSMART PWNAGE! Perfect for a Psychic/Fighter as myself. Meganium & Venusaur in my opinion are equally as effective in their own way though. You got a stellar saboteur; or a great wall (which I'll express my loadout right now) who is awesome with a Sunny Day, SolarBeam, Synthesis (or Barrier), & Frenzy Plant (or Earthquake, or Light Screen).

Yup. In my opinion, Meganium and Venusaur are perfect for strategy play, as they are status nuke tankers. They have moves which can cause status effects, they have a LOT of health. And also, they have moves like solar beam and frenzy plant. So they can be used for so much. xD I mostly base my teams on Meganium in advanced play. Pokémon like Groudon are perfect matches, as he gets sunny day up as an ability instead of attack. (At least he did in 3rd gen. Not sure about 4th. Havent used it in a while. :/) Then just make him do as much damage as possible and then let out Meganium and use Solar beam at your first turn. Lulz and teen rage ensues. I just wish groudon was not a legendary. It would be cool to be able to use it in online play without being called a legend noob. :3 You know any other pokémon with that ability? I cant remember any at the moment...

I agree with you entirely, but I don't think it's the best idea to base your team around Meganium, but that's just coming from a person who uses a sabotage & retaliate strategy, similar to yours. Hell, I intentionally use Vaporeon as a modified saboteur & retaliator in my platinum file for example... hence why I use Brine & Toxic with it, while on HG/SS, Meganium is used primarily to tank damage or sabotage. Always worked for me despite I'm not an 'advance' player. BTW, Groundon's the only pokemon with instant sunny day.

Always worked for me despite I'm not an 'advance' player. BTW, Groundon's the only pokemon with instant sunny day. I kinda hate advanced play. But you get used to it. :l I liked the old battle system better. But that is just me. xD Call it being old skool. But i like Meganium so much, i constantly try to base teams around it. It is hard, and the strategy may be hard to pull off because it is weak to a lot of stuff. But it is still fun. If i want to make a really well balanced team, i would also use Vaporeon or even Umbreon with it. Umbreon can be a beast in sabotage teams if you got the right moveset. Trust me, Umbreon can lay heavy status and HP damage before it goes down, mainly because it is a frickin´ TANK. I try to make weird strategies just for the heck of it. And thus far, Umbreon, Meganium, Venusaur, Gengar, Ludicolo (With rain dish, leftovers and rain dance) and Crobat have been really fun picks for sabotage and survival battles. (Sabotage missions being all about regaining as much hp as possible each turn and then attack, lowering your oponents HP while your own is being replenished each turn.) I would say that Meganium would work for both. Considering it has synthesis. But i would use it for the same thing as you in most cases. Also, the thing that may be fatal in battle, is its speed. That is why i see your reasoning in why you would not use it as a main pokémon. If your opponent attacks faster, then you can lose Meganium quickly, considering its many weaknesses. :/ Oh well, i still love it. xD

I am an old-skooler myself, & taking a look at your strategy, I don't think having 3 grass types in your team is a good idea. I would probably remove Ludicolo & replace it with Weezing (provided it has Curse for extra tanking & either Poison Barb or Quick Claw). I dunno. I really hate using Umbreon for it's so hard for me to get & it's not really my cup of tea for stats & why I'd rather use Meganium over it or Vaporeon, but used correctly it's awesome. Same goes with the 3 grass using strategy (althought I always go strictly to the game's location & only 1 starter (excluding Eevee).

I've always been an in Betweener :3 I absolutely adore the Old school but the new school is just as good too and offers even more than before. Happiness based pokemon are not hard to get in my case. (berries are your best friend when it comes to happiness based pokemons biggrin )

I try and make up my own strategies. But usually I just have a team that's has a little bit of everything, so it's well balanced, and support one another. X3

I mean i like those pokémon in general. I would not even think about putting them all in the same team. That would just be silly.

X3 I wish i could put all my favourite pokémon in one team. It would be awesome... But i would lose big time... Imagine Meganium, Umbreon, Crobat, Pidgeot, Milotic, and Arcanine in one team. Not too bad i guess... But i would probably lose against a balanced and themed party.

At least we laughed. Oh how we laughed... Poor magikarp just kept splashing... Splashing... AND SPLASHING! SPLASHING AHAHAHAWHWAHA! Then i killed it with my Tyranitar. :3 My friend was PISSED. xD

The only 2 I'd rid of though are Milotic (note: I've never used it) for either a Weezing, Tauros, a Gyrados (with Lagging Tail, Avalanche, & Payback), Heracross, or a Luxray; & Pidgeot with a Gardevoir, or a physical wall with stellar attack like Weezing again.
