Incoming message. . .
Gabriel blinked, then glanced down at the glass in his hand. Smiling slightly, he set the glass in front of her. "There you go then." he said softly, leaning against the bar. "I must say, I like the red and black better." He motioned to her hair as he said this, reaching out to touch a few stray strands of the long white locks. He only kept contact for a moment, though, pulling back his hand after the brief touch. He surely didn't want to be caught touching this one if that man came poking around. A fight within the walls of the castle would most likely get him into trouble with Lucid. "Why do you let him tag along with you, anyway?" he asked, flicking his tail to and fro gently. "If you find him annoying, why not just ditch him?"
End of message.

Solaria accepted the drink from the Carrion Demon. A faint blush crept on Solaria's cheeks when he pointed out her change in appearance. Not very many people got to see her in her Angel form. Not even Azorath has witnessed her angelic appearance, tough he is well aware of that characteristic.
She took a small sip before answering Gabriel's question, "Azorath is about the closest thing I have to a brother. I'm an only child and I left home a couple years back. I met him and he protected me like a brother would a sister. So, I owe him that much of keeping him company."

Lyra slipped quietly out of the pool of darkness. If there was one thing she was good at it was moving silently. Though she still hated the dark she had learned not to fear it quite so much. Gabriel was distracted with someone and for once the master vampire wasn't in his domain. That actually left the hot pools that steamed underneath the depths of the castle free...free for her to use at least. With a slight smile she took a deep breath and darted into the blackness of the hallway, still moving quickly and silently to avoid catching anyone's attention. Breathing easily only after she stepped into the dim lights of the stones that surrounded the pools she slowed her pace and allowed herself another smile. Not even bothering to glance around her, she made her way to the small pool at the far end of the cavern, furthest away from the tunnel...just in case demon babysitter did make an appearance, she thought making a slight face. It wasn't that she minded Lucid leaving Gabriel to watch her....she and Gabriel just weren't exactly friends at this point. Stripping, she neatly folded her clothes and set them against the wall, wanting to avoid them getting wet. Pulling the thin strip of leather that held her long hair back from her face, letting it fall in light waves over her shoulders and upper back. Fingering it for a long moment, she sighed, wishing that her hair was as long as Lucids. Shaking her head, she stepped into the heated crystal blue water of the pool and nearly moaned. The heat from the water felt like heaven against her skin. Sinking into it's depths she leaned back, resting her head against the pools edge. Letting her eyes drift closed, and the heat from the water flush her face and relax her body.

Lucid watched Lyra from the deepest shadows of the cavern. She was not yet aware enough of her senses to notice his presence, which in this case was a good thing. He'd been here first, thinking about some things. He'd looked up as soon as he'd felt her coming and sole into the shadows where he now sat. She was beautiful, he noted, drinking in her features carefully. She had the sort of beauty that vampires looked for in humans, but rarely found. He wondered for a moment how much she'd dislike him for spying on her like he was. He thought about simply vanishing, but for some reason his mind couldn't wrap around the energy enough. Heaving an almost silent sigh, he stepped out of the shadows. "They are very warm, aren't they?" he asked quietly, moving to kneel beside the pool she was in. He purposely left his hands free, just in case he needed one.

Lyra's eyes flew open and she gasped as her gaze met the intensity of Lucid's. Forgetting that the water was crystal clear...she sank deeper into it, looking at him with wide eyes. "What are you doing home? I mean..." she shook her head and found that she couldn't pull her gaze away from his. "When did you get back? I didn't hear you come in."

Lucid forced away the urge to laugh at her feeble attempt to hide her body from him, instead putting on just a slight smile. "I was already here." he said, letting his gaze move down her form. Lust moved through his own body at a rapid pace as he inhaled her scent. Lifting his sharp gaze back to hers, he reached out a hand to brush her cheek. "Has anyone ever told you that you're very beautiful?"

Lyra's gaze was once again ensnared by the intensity of his. His eyes held a different look though now, one that she didn't recognize but that sent a jolt through her body. She felt his had touch her cheek though she couldn't move...she couldn't even look away. A little frightened by the intensity of her feelings she let her eyes drift closed in an attempt to focus in his question. "Um...uhhh...no...I don't think so." she answered quietly. "At least not anyone that I can remember."

He leaned forward slightly, curving his hand around the back of her neck. Applying only the slightest of pressure, he pulled her to him. Reaching out with his other hand, he tucked his fingers under her chin and tilted her head back a bit. "Well you are." he said. "And it pleases me that I am the first to tell you so." Leaning down, he captured her mouth with his in a kiss. He almost had the time to regret his actions as well, before his mind drew a blank as to why he should regret such a thing.

Too stunned to do anything for a long moment, Lyra froze, every muscle in her body going tense with shock. She didn't know how long he kissed her, or how long she stood there, unmoving, her mind blank. She didn't want to pull away...as far as she could tell. When she felt him start to withdraw from her, she finally moved. Reaching up, she gripped his arms to hold him to her and moved into him. She placed her lips lightly against his, not sure what else she was supposed to do from there.

Lucid smiled against her lips when he felt her press closer. In his position, crouched as he was beside the pool, he could easily have pulled away from her despite her actions. But it wasn't what his body wanted and, after a moment's struggle, lust won out. Putting his arms around her waist, he rose and lifted her from the water, setting her on her feet in front of him. Then he was kissing her again, hungrily this time, pulling her more fully against him.

[[I'm not on my regular pc so no pretty post..just to let you know.]] Gabriel snorted at her response, shaking his head. "I don't think it's my place, but I'm going to point it out anyway." he said, his voice soft. "That man treats you like a possession, not a person. He acts as though you're all his and no one should ever be able to look at you or talk to you." Straightening from the bar, he grabbed another glass, filling this one with red wine from the same decanter. "Not that I'm trying to split the two of you up or anything. I just think he needs a wake up call."

[[It's perfectly fine, 'Jay. *nods* Short post since I have to leave in a minute, just letting you know. :3]]
"I do too, actually. Sometimes, I think he thinks more of us as a couple than siblings. He's a nice guy once you get to know him, but I just don't like him like that." Solaria sighed, taking a sip of her wine.
"He doesn't seem to listen when I tell him that though."

"Maybe he thinks you'll come around if he is persistent enough." he said quietly, flicking his tail again. Gabriel wondered for a moment, if Azorath was the jealous type. If he was, then Gabriel might get to have fun after all. Of course, Lucid would be mad if anything bad happened. But he could make sure nothing did..right? His lips curved into a malicious grin as he plotted to himself. After a moment of this plotting, he forced his expression into a more calm look, giving Solaria a smile. "Maybe he just needs it pointed out by another person as well.."

Azorath, who had been asleep for most of the day, woke up and rose from the bed. He got a quick change of clothes and headed out his door and towards Solaria's room.
He knocked three times, calling out her name, "Solaria? You in there? It's me... Azorath." No answer. He furrowed his eyebrows, and focused senses in her room. When he realized it had been vacant, he moved his senses and focused them all on Solaria. It took five minutes or so, to get an idea where she could be.
She's in a bar in the castle? he wondered. What would she be doing at a bar? She doesn't drink, I don't think. Is she with someone? he asked himself. At the last question, his mind went straight to the man with the spiked collar and leather pants. His eyes narrowed at the thought and soon, he found himself dashing through the halls of the Haven.
"Solaria!"
--
Solaria grinned at Gabriel, taking another sip of the wine. She leaned over the bar top, smirking. She heard Azorath's voice echo through the halls, but merely ignored it. She figured Gabriel was right. Azorath does seem to treat her more like a possession than a person. She felt Azorath's voice grow louder. She had to show him that she's not interested in being his mate.
After thinking of her own plot, Solaria stood up straight and walked around the bar. She stood in front of Gabriel and stared up at him. He was much taller than she was, and this pleased her. Reaching up with her free hand towards Gabriel's neck, she slipped her index finger under his collar. Gently she pulled, making it so that he was on the same level as her and their faces were only a few inches apart. "And tell me, Gabriel. Who exactly did you have in mind?" she said in an almost seductive tone. Her icy blue eyes had flashed back to their blood red color for a second or so. And like earlier, they were glowing bright.
