:Rage expected as much, turning and tossing the girl over the wall as it rose. He looked back, now free of the burden, back towards Toph. Reflexively, he side-stepped to the right of the projectile, averting his position and coming at Toph with a forward thrust of his sword hand.:

Toph felt the disappearence of the girl and her reappearence on the other side. She frowned slightly, but just shrugged it off, "Looks like we'll have to get Twinkletoes out ourselves. Either that or wait for him to wake up. Either way, I'm still taking you down." She felt Rage come at her and easily made a ninety-degree turn, causing his blade to strike the air in front of her stomach. She then jerked her right hand upward, causing a small pillar of rock to shoot up at his blade in hopes to disarm him.

:Rage quickly retreated as soon as he'd missed his target, jumping back and to the right. His sword narrowly dodged the pillar, having turned it's edge up to the air and sliding it back to the assassin's defense. He had to be careful with the earth bender, any slip up could cost him more than a slap of water. :

After all the commotion of Rage trying to help her escape and the avatar's friends trying to stop her Chihiro looked at her potions all this commotion. With a sigh she smiled, it looks like they didn't get recked. With that Chihiro made her way back to the base.

Toph grinned at his retreat and began walking towards him, slamming her feet into the ground as she does so. At each stomp, a spike of earth shoots out from the ground near Rage. With a hidden twist of her wrist, she softens the earth behind him, hoping to catch him within it.

: His dagger and sword worked furiously, deflecting each spike as he continued back. He hit soft terrain, what he could notice once his left leg took the first back-step into it. Rage rolled back, over the soft earth with quick pace. Leaping back for good measure, his eyes darted to Karen.: Stay back! Do not get involved. :He said with a scowl, turning his eyes back to Toph with anger.:

Toph laughed mockingly, "Aww, the big tough guy is scared!" She shot her fists out to the sides, causing small chunks of earth to shoot out of the ground and folded her arms close to her to surround herself in a suit of rock. She then shot towards Rage in her protective suit, holding her arm back for a punch.

Perhaps...: Rage made a sudden roll to the left, letting her slide past himself. He wasn't exactly retreating more like positioning himself for better effectiveness. For behind him, not more than a foot, was Kira who had been lying helplessly on the floor.:

Before her momentum could carry her too far, Toph released the suit of rock around her and had the stones hover in the air as she leapt into the air and twisted around. The rubble collected at her feet and she used it in a wave-like shape to propel her forward towards Rage. She felt his closeness to her unconscious teammate, and quickly threw her fist upward to have a wall separate the two.

Toph stared between the two, obviously not caring if she met thier eyes or not, "Another one of Azula's goons to pound? Sounds like fun to me!" She slammed her foot on the ground twice and kicked at the two boulders that flew up from the floor. The rocks shot towards her two enemies, flying at unbelievable speeds.
