One of those same looks to Zahara. "Are you in the position to be threatenign me? I know exactly how far to go before I pull back...you should learn it too. And I didn't lay a hand on her now did I? So get your hand off your dagger least I have to take my own precautions against you." Another arrogant smirk...messing with the women with little retaliation was kind of fun.
So help him she wanted to cave in his cheekbones. And she almost did before Zahara decided to step in. Funny, usually she was the one doing the stepping in now wasn't she? Though at Zahara's urging she let the issue drop...somehow she was sure if she kept up with this, she would loose it. "Fine..." And she jekred away from Zahara as well, turning on her heel...oh so wanted to break his cheekbones. "Can we go yet Malik?!"

She merely let Piper jerk away and watched her go then turned and glared at Sevilin, "You may be able to threaten and you may even be able to follow through with your threats adn that's fine Rune Mage. But if you do anything to hurt Piper in any way you will rue the day you ever met Kieran and came to this Fortress adn that's not a threat, that is a promise." Just to spite him she kept her hands on her dagger and even drew it then lifted it to her face studying the blade and lovingly running her fingers over it's sharp edges. Even at the gentle touch, the wickedly sharp blade cut into her finger and she looked at Sevilin pointedly then resheathed the dagger and healed her finger. "Don't play with me Sevilin, I'm a wicked opponent and I don't always play fair." Fair warning, she wasn't about to allow him to be mean to Piper, she didnt care if she got the a** kicking of her life because of her actions, wasn't happening.

"Twenty minutes, Piper. and we'll be ready to go. I need to collect a few items from my vault, and then we'll head on our way to our first strike point. Play nice with the other drow till I get back. and here."
He unstrapped Ebony from hsi back, and handed it to her.
"They get uppity, a little holy light might due them a bit of good."
And he went into the fortress, down into his vault to find the small figurines for the plaguing, as well as some items for Zahara. those daggers just where not going to cut it. she needed something with more range.

Sevilin only stared at her...and grinned in what could of been a preverse delight at some thought in his head over something or other. "Fair play or not...you have no idea who you're up against. A slight grin as she would feel a soft warmth on her forehead in reminder. "I can do horrible things to you...I can do things that would put to shame the things you do."
Then his smile smoothed into nothing more than a slight smirk. "No worries...I won't lay a hand on her. She's not my concern really...and she'll get herself into enough trouble and mishaps wihtout my aid to it." Cocky look from him indeed before his mood shifted at Malik's time frame. "Ah, leaving soon...save your anger for the battlefield...you'll be competeing for energies from Malik's own..." Yes he was being an as jsut to get them angry on purpose.
She took the sword from him, hands gripping rather tightly to it as he walked off to fetch things. Eh he liked to be well prepared now didn't he? Oh well...giving a sigh she tried to calm herself back down some...gods he was so irritating...hated him so much...and all she was to him was nothing but a weak little surface elf that Malik found some time of preverse joy in bedding. Wow that was a negative thought if there ever was one.

That smile made horrible thoughts pop into her mind. She'd seen that smile before and the memory of the one who had smiled it made her want to shudder. She didn't shudder, didn't move even when her forehead grew warm and began to itch. She merely stood there and let him do whatever it was he was going to do. An indifferent expression followed by a bored one floated across her face amost as if she were bored with his theatrics. "As long as we both know..." A glance off as Malik revealed his timetable and she nodded. "I'll be ready don't you even worry your pretty head about me." And then she turned and walked around a bit, taking Piper's advice and stretching her legs.

Malik was rooting in his Vault, found the three little statues, wrapped them up and but them in a tinker's bag...then looked for something for Zahara. lets see..no sword...clerics didn't use swords...those daggers just had no range to them. he doubted she coudl use a bow..hmm..ah, there it is, the resplendant war maul.
he picked it up, the thing looked like a three foot pole with a about a foot tall and foot and a half wide steel block on it. with a single band down the middle length and width, that has spikes on it.
That got put in the bag too. just easier to carry that way. adn then a couple of Elemental Staves..that woudl help the undead casters.
Then back out of the vault, and out to teh open, and first taking the staves outof the bags, giving them to undead spell casters to increase thier cold and heat spells, the bag of statues to a necromancer, and over to Zahara and handing her the hammer.
"You'll need somethign with a longer range than those daggers. SEvilin can rune it too. but leave your daggers here."

"And to think, your behavior was actually starting to be looked at as well behaved. Now you've gone and set yourself too steps back." He clicked his tongue and went quiet then, that irritating quiet too. He would simply wait for Malik.
Of course upon his arrival it was just as well, seeing as he was starting to get ancy himself and was tired of this idle action. Though a raised eyebrow at Malik wanting Zahara to change weapons. That was a potienial whine fest in the making wasn't it?
Finally...she really wanted to get this over with. Why? Because then Malik could take a semi break from all this and Sevilin would go back to whereever it was the rat hid out in during the day. Damnable drow...it figured out of all the rune mage, they would get the one with the horrible attitude.

Zahara took the weapon from him and blinked at it for a moment. So he wanted her to change weapons did he? He thought her daggers had no range, he had no idea. But she'd go along with it since she was playing the obedient one and she hefted the giant hammer. Not too heavy, seemed pretty versatile. She gave it an experimental swing or two, walking over by Sevilin first. "Look what Malik gave me." Might as well play with his head a little bit. But she wasn't leaving her daggers at home. She never went anywhere without her daggers, even in bed she had them close at hand. She wouldn't use them but she sure as hell wasn't leaving them at home.

Oh he couldn't resist the temptation, so a rather humored look to Zahara. "Oh look, you can lift that thing? Good for you." Intimidated? Not in the slightest...when it came down to confromtation he knew he had the upper hand on her and that's all there was to it really.
"Isn't that nice of him...remember to brace yourself when you swing...wouldn't want to to go flnging off into the enemy." A breif look of thought then a smirk. "Or maybe we would..."

"Thanks for the confidence Sevilin, I'll make sure to do so." She rolled her eyes and then readjusted teh hammer, though she'd need to find some way to carry it...hmm maybe it would work in the pack she already had. But holding it out, "Aren't you forgetting something Master Rune Mage?" Yes this tiem it was said mockingly. "Don't you need to do your thing with this, use your little fingerpaints or whatever it is that you do?"

He rolled his eyes as well...wasn't this atmosphere just lovely? Choke him with good fortune...though he frowned lightly at her mockery, he knew it was a blatant attempt to get at him. But he sure as hell would remain true to his word...he wouldn't rise to her bait.
Thusly a fingertip was set to the hammer's handle and after a little glimmer of red light, red glowing runes were scribed in quick succession, not even having to think about what he wanted on there, before he pulled his hand away and they faded to a soft glowing white before disappearing entirely. "Better?"

She shrugged, not like she really cared whether her weapons were runed or not but she was being the obedient little girl and doing what Malik told her to do. "Doesn't much matter to me whether I've got symbols on my weapons or not, so no, not really. But I'm sure Malik feels better about it. In any case thanks I suppose. And good luck." A small moment of quiet and then seh said, "We're probably riding Serino together again..." Her eyes had been drawn to his fingers when he was runing, such capable hands, made her wonder things but that was just her soon to show in great abundance instincts.

Malik didn't waste any time, and gave a whistle for Nightmare, who came promtply fading into being out of darkness, and he hopped up on her, and pulled Piper up with him.
"Zahara, Sevilin, back to Serino, we're moving out."
Then to teh troop with them.
"On the quickstep. march!"
And Malik started off at a trot, Piper with him, and a small legion of ogres, halfelves, humans, golems, and undead in thier wake. He'd leave Onyx to handle the affairs of his house. as well as Simon.

"If you want to boost you'd care. But fine if you don't care I don't have to give it to you...I have Malik's troops to support too." He wasn't sure if she got it..or Malik for that matter. If he planned to do this, Sevilin wouldn't be doing much hand to thand combat.
He's have to stick back some to concentrate and conserve his own energy to put effect runes on both Malik's little war band and Zahara...not to mention Piper would suck off him too if she got in that radius target zone, he knew her weapons were runed too.
But a look to Malik and a shrug, walking back over to Serino and hopped up on him, waiting for Zahara to drive the damn animal or whatever it was she did in the front there. "Hurry up."
Piper had been staring at the three for quite a while...just staring. She knew what she was feeling...but didn't understand why it would come up now. Watching the three of them making war plans and positively delighting in them...three elves who lived for this life...three Drow who all bested her in some way. It was a feeling of displacement...she was the surface elf among drow...and even Malik thought she couldn't do this. Though she was pulled from those thoughts at Malik pulling her up on Nightmare. Well hello again world outside her head. She looked down at the sword she was still holding and gave a soft sigh. War Wa everywhere and no end in sight.

Zahara rolled her eyes and just because he was being an a** she took her sweet time walking over to Serino and settling herself up on his back. She decided to ride sidesaddle with the sledgehammer over her lap since she had nothign else to do wtih teh damn thing. How conspicious was that? She rides in, weapon in hand because she doesn't have anything else to do with it. Showed how often she used the damn thing, now didn't it? But finally she was settled on Serino and an apple to him just because she could and they would be off.
