It might be wise. If you've never taken a government course, or have forgotten all about it, it tends to become relevant.
I'm still mad that people said I wasted my vote because I didn't vote republican or democrat though. Either tell me to vote for the person I think is right for the job, or tell me to vote one of the two parties. But don't pull me into a bloody paradox.
Plus, today's little public humiliation for being 'racist' for not voting for obama wasn't exactly making my top list..

Edit x2: Because people don't know what being racist really is anymore. It's just, quite simply put, mistreatment in the simplest, non (violently) verbal matter. Say you don't want to vote for Sen. Obama because you don't want to vote, and tell a proud Obama Voter... they automatically assume it's because he's black. Even though, you just don't care about elections anymore.
Did you guys hear about the skinheads attempting to assassinate him? Absolutely ridiculous.

I dont get it.
Look at Obama.
He acts too white to be black.
And Color has long since stopped mattering. Ability matters.
This isnt the 60's. People who play the race card are Racist unto themselves.
There's no color on capital hill save for green.
