"to tell you the truth I have no idea" he laughs. he kept his attention on his client and said to the hunter "I just know that If i protect him I get money, alot of money." his client was moving towards a group of girls. david sighed, that could be a trap, david might have to spring into action any seconed now. "okay you can help just watch him and make sure that if he gets in trouble that he survives."

He was blissfully unaware. Oh so blissfully unaware. Nor did he care, turning all of his attention to the drink in his hand, despite how flustered the girl reacted to his insult. If one could even call the audible murmur of ill-informed first impressions an insult. As far as Stan was concerned, he called them like he saw them, which was awfully rude of the psychologist. Then again, had Sybil used a nicer, non-condescending tone, then Stan would have easily conceded. The hunter would have moved. Now, he was just wound up, and even the over-bearing (yet unknown) irony of the situation wouldn't make Stan laugh.

Stan visibly shivered under his clothes, but blamed it again on the shitty placement of the ventilation system. Which didn't really bother him so much; he's lived in cold places all of his life.

"Only when they ask for it, baby doll." Stan made sure to enunciate every one of the words in the most lovingly way possible. His head turned; eyes fixating on the girl's attractive face before dropping a few inches, if only for the briefest of moments. Stan was far from perverted, but incapable of helping himself, especially if Sibyl was going to flaunt them like that. But as aforementioned, it was brief and his facial expression didn't even change. Nothing changed and his response to the rest of her s**t exemplified it. "Hey, hey, hey lady. I don't want to know your life's story."

He smugly smiled to himself before moving to grab his drink. An unseen force tipping the glass over and making a mess of things. Stan was frantic then, cleaning the mess and lifting the glass from it's lop-sided position. It was an embarrassing sight, but the psychologist was used to embarrassment. Though, Sybil's laugh didn't help. At all. He glared.

Stan didn't blame her though. The hunter was known as a klutz and as far as otherworldly creatures were concerned, Stan's depth-perception just sucked. A lot.

Hands him a m9 he carries for protection.

"Invest in one...." He laughs.

He cocks his desert eagle and smokes a cig. He pulls down his hat.

"You can't just change...too many mortals." He says.
He waits for anything to go wrong and he would pounce he was ready. But was he armed correctly?
"Whats the theart? Vamps?" He asks.

Rogue smiled as she could smell his blood beneath the skin as he was so close. Though many other scents tried to overwhelm in the club atmosphere, she would be able to track him. Not that she had tracking in mind at this moment.
She wanted the blood flowing beneath the skin. She was in truth, enjoying his company, and she hated her own bloodlust in these moments. She felt a pang of the deep bloodlust she felt when the diamond was within her. Control. Scrape for control, Kaei, she told herself.

"You would be quite wrong in your assumption." She let go of his wrist while he was so close, the fire in her eyes, bright.

"I have enjoyed your company ever so much. Maybe I can show you some of my more emotional works if you are truly interested." Rogue brushed her hand lightly on his face, running her thumb down and around his eyebrow to cheek and holding it there a moment. She leaned in close to his ear, her voice soft and low.

Rogue felt her fangs slowly elongate and grow heavy in her mouth as she was so close to his artery she could almost taste the blood, but she held still. She wanted his permission.
"May I, Kevin?"

Sybil shrugged all nonchalant, playing off that condescending attitude of Stan's like it mattered little. His opinion didn't count any more than the thousands of others who'd insulted her. Though, She just couldn't help but notice when those blue eyes swooped for a low glance at her freckled cleavage. Oh, Naughty boy right there. Ogling her lovely assets if only for the briefest of moments. All men were prone to it, from humans to the Supes that she was trying to catalog. Show a bit of peachy skin and you can distract any man if just for that one second, a moment of abandonment and curiosity that could undo even the most powerful of creatures. She might have gathered up some witty remark in response to his wondering eyes, but it was that very moment that Stan's drink had spilt. Just barely managing to sober enough, Sybil offered Stan a sweet n' innocent smile in return for his menacing glare. He might write off the incident as clumsiness, but she knew better. It was amusing, regardless of what 'force' caused it. Even Jewel had a grin playing upon his lips.

“Sucks. Maybe you should get those eyes checked out, Babe. Those glasses are so out of style anyways. Need a napkin?” She asked, playing coy as she attempted to wave down the bartender so they might fetch Stan some assistance. Mostly she just wanted to embarrass him further and bring his mess to other's attention. Payback is a lovely b***h. She paused in mid-wave though, turning her two-toned eyes to her invisible friend.
Sybil. Let us go. This human is a poor influence.” Jewel nagged with a whisper at her ear. That man moved way too fast, behind the counter one moment and at her side the next. He touched her copper-toned hair and threated his fingers through the baby-doll pigtails with unearthly ease. To one paying attention, his movements might come be observed as a rough breeze touching her locks. His movements much too careful to be detected.

“I don't want to leave. Go find me a Supe or something.” Sybil muttered, trying to turn her focus back to Stan. Oh, to hell with that horny four-eyed boy next to her. With luck, He'd run off thinking she was an escapee from the local psyche ward if she continued mumbling off to herself long enough. In fact, why not go all out crazy on the boy and start rambling off about the creatures of the night? That would be enough to frighten away any normal boy.
“Hey Sweety.” Sybil said, speaking oh-so smooth and clear as she turned to face Jewel once again. Of course, to someone with normal sight, it would appear as though she was conversing with nothing but the air beside her. “Why don't you go and fetch me a vamp? We need more info on them, anyways. “ She paused just for a moment, taking a quick glance around the nightclub. Only needing one moment, she'd swiftly spotted a female vampire detectable to Sybil by her glowing red aura. She pointed a hand at the Rouge motioning for Jewel to go take care of things. “There, A bloodsuckers Go observe.”

"Maybe I should," Stan mentioned, his sarcasm lost for the first time since the conversation started. Though, he was definitely used to the humiliation that every day life brought him. It didn't necessarily feel very good. Actually, it sucked. It sucked a lot. The hunter frowned in what looked like the epitome of inadequacy, making him doubt his coming to a night club to begin with. It was short lived though, knowing that Sybil was right there, but also knowing that by then she was turned away. She wouldn't have seen his sad face and wouldn't have more material to laugh about. The psychologist hid his sad face with the impassive look attributed to Psychologist.

He ordered another drink and paid for it before overhearing Sybil's words. It tripped a few dozen alarms in his head. The word "vampire" and all of it's associated terms made the hunter tense up and look around paranoid. The ******** was this broad talking about vampires for? Frantic once more, Stan began to reach out towards the girl but stopped himself half way. In a middle of a crowded club, grabbing a random woman for whatever reason was a precipice. A good reason for the bouncers to kick his a** and for the redhead to have the last laugh.

Instead, Stan leaned his body forward, Sybil still having her back to him. His mouth parallel to her ear, he whispered. "Now, either you're deranged or you know about this city's night problem." He didn't touch, just spoke, trying hard not to invade more space than he already had. "I have a hunch it's the latter. So, explain yourself."

Whispering in a person's ear was commonplace in sensual locales such as nightclubs, though there was definitely nothing sensual about his voice or his actions. He was just whispering in her ear, though it looked like it was from afar. Secretive is secretive.

Kevin felt skin on skin, his wrist now back in control. He stared at Rouge, happy as he normally was. However, something stirred inside him.

"Rouge, I am sorry, but I must decline." Kevin's eyes closed as he leaned back in his chair. His body suddenly was aware of everything. The surroundings, the music, the vibrations, and the noises suddenly filled him. His mind went on overdrive, pulsing and throbbing as it took him back about four months. Four months, to that night....

Kevin had followed a vampire and lycan, the tragic love story, to the Residential area. It was actually nothing big, for Kevin had recently killed off a few vampires and was looking for information. Of course, the best source of it is usually an undead itself. She and her lycan lover were trying to hide their love. Kevin's distaste for vampires, or hatred so to speak, was obvious. The female took it personally and had jumped him, catching him off guard. He struggled, but she had pinned him. She was one of those phantom vampires, the ones that drink blood and don't curse the victim. Kevin, however, refused to be a victim. He bit into the vampiress' neck as hard as he could until she grunted and loosened her grip. He had proceeded to floor her, hitting her clean across the face with a left hook. His fist connected, sending her rolling off him. He drew his guns, but only to hold back the lycan that had opened fire on him. The vampiress got up and stood between Kevin and the window, shooting him in the arms and leg. Kevin, being himself, un-pinned two grenades and threw them backwards as he tackled the vampiress through the window behind her, falling four stories. Kevin had broken many bones and was almost among the actual dead if it were not for another Vampiress.... Go figure... But she was one of the only undead Kevin trusted..... So far. SHE was the reason he was giving undead a chance as of now...

Snapping back to reality, where in only 4.1 seconds passed, Kevin's eyes snapped open and grew deadly. They held the serious side of him, the angry, bloodlusting, death side. It was the side where he trusted no one, the old habit, the old hate that was engraved in his head. This was a side that had the simple messages of "Get in my way and die" and "I will end you."

But, Kevin's eyes blinked, stayed open, and the serious side receeded. He looked up at Rouge and grinned as if nothing had happened, rubbing the back of his head nervously. Why? Why couldn't he control those urges to destroy undead? Was the goal to end them all and gain peace and his sister back his life? Was that all he was now?

"Heh-heh! Umm... Sorry about that! I just remembered that I don't like getting bitten! Hope you're not offended."

Kevin's body relaxed, and everything seemed to fade back to normal. He calmed his mind and brain, the throbbing receding. He gently picked up the vodka, as to how it got in his hand, he didn't know. He took a swig from it, his eyes scanning the room to see if he recognized anyone. It took him almost one whole second to scan the faces of people. If a face didn't show any recognition, then he ignored it. He was, after all, one of the hunters that had been around for quite some time. He was one of those people who was labeled a "Martyr". Unorthodox, but definetally not one to set off.

"As for your tour, I'd love to see some of your works sometime! I am truly interested. I... would enjoy seeing them."

When Kevin searched the room for people he recognized, not that it mattered for he was going to stay with Rouge reguardless, he did catch a few familiar faces. Some of the newer people. For starters, there was Sybil. Kevin thought she had a rather negative outlook on life, like giraffes, but she sure did take care of demons. At least that's what rumor had said. Then there was Dupree. Kevin didn't read too much into anyone's file, but he struck Kevin as a therapist. He read into it a bit and wanted to see if he had a happy life, but apparently his brother was offed by some sort of supernatural.

That's it hit him.

"Hey Rouge, how do you know my name? I made certain that I don't have much of a reputation, and I'm fairly sure it hasn't hit the radar with too many of... well, your kind."

He smiled softly, leaning forward just a bit again to show he wasn't afraid or uncomfortable.

It should have done the trick. Sybil had repelled dozens of undesirable guys with that very ploy and every time, it had worked effortlessly. Many left without another word, some even shook their heads with pity at the waste of a pretty face. It was guaranteed to work. Under normal circumstances, of course. Apparently, Stan didn't fall into the normal category. Sybil had stilled, hesitating and loosing all her clever wit. It wasn't just that Stan knew something of the night activity, but she realized with a shudder that it had been quite a very long time since a man had willingly placed themselves so close to her. And by man, that entitled a living, breathing human male. Not a tanned, magical ancient being or cold, deadly bloodsuckers. She'd been without the company of human beings for so long that she wasn't quite sure how to react at first, uncertain for the first time in a tragically long while.
Despite the years they had spent together, Sybil remained unclear on the terms of the relationship between Jewel and her. Sure, they were constantly at each other's hip and he was most certainly her life line. Without him, Sybil was pretty damned sure she'd be lost and delirious. But were they more than life-long friends? There were moments when her heart fluttered around him and she wondered what could be, but when you got right down to it; there was a massive age difference and even though Sybil was 'gifted' with her all seeing eyes, she was still very much human and Jewel, evidently couldn't accept humans as anything more than a lowly life force reminiscence of cattle.
That's why it never failed to confuse her when Jewel lost his temper, coincidently whenever a human boy gathered the courage to hit up the feisty ginger. He insisted that Sybil simply 'belonged' to him and his race, but his attitude resembled something more like jealousy. Just like how he was acting now. Those eerie iridescent eyes of Jewel's never wavered from Sybil when Stan leaned forward. Disobeying her orders, He'd stayed to stand watch over the girl. In reflection to his mood, the surrounding temperature plummeted a good ten degrees. The last time the Fairy had lost him temper, a building had collapsed.

'Shouldn't be so close. It's not safe for boys.” Sybil murmured, speaking softly. This time, She did shiver, distracted and caught off guard as she was. Her eyes remained on Jewel with a steady gaze, but her attention was focused on Stan as she tried formulate the appropriate reply. “Oh, Darn. Guess you caught me. What do you know about the nightly activity here? I'm trying to gather information. Got any, Babe?” As she spoke, She leaned back into him. Ignoring that his personal invasion had been nothing but words, she thought she might be able to play him for information. She was some hot redhead stuff and he was a guy. Something had to give. Besides, human interactions was nice once in along while. Warm breathing people. People that smelled normal and didn't glow or bite. It was refreshing.

It was odd how things got colder and colder, but again and again Stan dismissed it. Called it something else and kept himself blissfully unaware. The hunter had leaned into the girl and she leaned right on back. Their proximity provided warmth on it's own, and her warm breath on his skin helped some more. Involuntarily, he leaned in some more. "I've been through and have seen worse. I'll tell you what you want to know, in exchange you have to tell me your intentions and if you're with NYHG."

The hunter grinned and waited for her to confirm that she understood his terms. When she did, Stan simply cleared his throat and began to speak. There wasn't much to be known, really, by now things were extremely obvious to the Hunters. "Everyone whose been in the game here for a day knows that this place is owned and operated by the New York City Vampire Coven." He whispered low so that no one nearby could hear, only lip reading could help one at this point, especially over the racket of music. Stan leaned in and gestured towards the woman (Rouge) that Sybil had pointed to before. "That lady, you should stay away from. She owns this place, and lo' and behold she's an Elder of the vampire race. Understand, that people like you and me come here for a fun night, and end up finding it being their last. The vampires here are vicious and they're always hunting for humans while under the guise of dancers." He paused and allowed the revelations to sink in.

Rogue felt his unease, and then smelled his fear for the first time in their conversation. She had hoped he had better reasons for hunter her kind than just reading the papers.

She pulled back slightly and her fangs retracted, or at least, as much as they could. "I understand."

She leaned back in her chair and scanned the room casually.
"To answer your question, I pulled your name from your mind."

She smiled a wicked smile and found that she was being watched. Great. Rogue caught their eyes and waved, a sarcastic smile set in place.

Alice had been watching the conversation between the woman named Rogue and the human male, completely entranced.

If I'm not mistaken...she's similar to me. Only, I have the bloodlust controlled...

It horrified her that another of her kind was so willing to feed on a human. To Alice, it was unheard of and dishonorable. When she had first began her new life, she had vowed to never take the life of a human for bloodlust. And here was another just like her, so ruled by it...Alice shook her head and downed her drink. She noticed that Rogue waved to someone. Alice turned her head and saw two others, a man with glasses and a redhead.

Hunters, perhaps...?

david took the m9 from the hunter, he checked the ammuntition in it. " For now I have no idea what the threat is, so it could be anything vamps included." he looked at his client again, he looked depresed and the group of girls were laughing at him, he must have gotten rejected. oh well, at least they didnt try to kill him david watched his client slowely move to the bar and order a drink. he realized that he could be there for hours, he sighed. this could be a long night he thought to himself. he took his eyes away from his client and took a quick look around, there were tons of people and there was alot of strange scents in the air, there was no way of knowing if anybody around him was dangerous or not. his eyes went back to his client, but to his surprise he was gone! david quickly looked around for him but did not see him anywere, he needed to find him quickly or he could be killed. he got up and headed straight for were he last saw his client and looked around some more, they must have been fast I was only looking away for a second.

Jackpot. Man, She was getting awfully lucky tonight. First Meridith had passed out cold in the middle of a street and presented her the opportunity to save her a** and get on the wolf's good side; And now, here was this boy, offering to spill all the juicy information about the activity in New York. She would have been beaning ear to ear if his words hadn't struck a cord on her pride. Oh please, this boy has seen worse? Just who the hell did he think he was talking too? She was so not a unaware bimbo walking blind in a dangerous city. She'd walked beside the dead all her life. She'd witnessed nearly every possible way the effects of any given fatality. Demons and Spirits wedged a constant battle to lay claim to her flesh, as her body was the perfect vessel for any bodiless form. Stan was the one unaware. Humans just didn't have even sense to realize what stood beside them, watching and observing just behind the veil unseen. There was more dangers to this world than vamps and wolves. She remained quiet however, both to humor him when he went on about the oh-so bad vampires and also because she was so unaccustomed to explaining the things she'd witnessed through her strange eyes.

“So she is an all-powerful one, huh? Doesn't look it, but I guess all those lovely leeches plaster on fancy facades.” She said, speaking casually. She seemed utterly disconcerned with the fact that a deadly and powerful creature was in such close proximity, or even more importantly, that Stan and her were in that snazzy hunter club and that women would probably want nothing more than a hunter-head on a platter. In fact, when Rouge caught their prying gaze, Sybil played coy and gifted her with a sun-kissed smile of her own. Sybil found it highly amusing that Stan had even paused to add dramatic affect after he spilled his 'life changing revaluations. ' Yes, Vampires were bad and nasty; but she already knew that. She sat up straight then, disconnecting herself from the warm fragrance of the stranger and shifted so she could be polite and look the boy in the face as she spoke and hint that she was attempting to appear serious for once.
“That's all very lovely, But I need details. Names, ages, abilities. Got any more intimate information? Please tell me you do, It would save me an awful lot of trouble. Why else would I have risked my pretty neck and come to a leach infested club?” She asked, rolling her eyes like the statement was a no-brainer.

Kevin sighed, already aware of other hunters. They didn't recognize who he was, so he was safe from them approaching for now. He also realized he was now sitting across from a mind-reader. It was alright. Not many of those wanted to go into Kevin's skull.

"Ah, relax. I'm not out to... do anything hostile... Or harmful. However, reading my mind isn't exactly the most nice things to do. You might find things you don't... or do like."

Kevin leaned forward again, half way across the table. He was smiling softly and warmly again, as if talking to a close friend. He had no fear, hostility, or worry.

"I might as well formally introduce myself. My name is Kevin VanWingerden. However you may call me Kashkin. I prefer that not many people know my full name. It makes things much easier, ya know? And if that doesn't show I trust you, I don't know what will."

Kevin held out his hand in such a way that Rouge could place her hand in it. He was asking for trust in return for trust.

He could think she was a mind reader. She was not going to correct him. Her psychic abilities were limited, but she was also sure many vampires had the ability to communicate with the mind. To hear surface thoughts if they wished, or concentrated enough. Rogue had some practice, and some training.

She was nothing psychically compared to Alexz. Not even a whisper of her abilities, and Rogue was full aware. But vampires did not exactly go around voicing all their abilities, or weaknesses for that matter. Not if they wanted to live.

"You amuse me, Kashkin."
She raised an eyebrow and looked at him and his hand. He did not know that blood letting was a token of trust. It was the equal to a vampire what his outstretched hand was to him.

"You will find no harm here tonight. Or any night for that matter, unless of course you want to cause a scene. Trust takes time my young friend."
She looked back at the two who had been staring, and sensed another pair of eyes. From the looks of it, a young woman. Vampire. Their eyes met, and Rogue nodded her head ever so slightly with a slight smile to the vampire.
