Nayalah Starlight Minako Nayalah Doesn't that mean we have to buy all the new expansion packs AGAIN for the fourth? Er can I combine them? Well, that's a good point. I wouldn't guaranttee I'd buy ALL the expansion packs for the Sims 4, considering the Sims 3 is the first one I actually bought ALL the expansion packs for, I only had up to Unleashed on the original, and the Sims 2 I only had up to Seasons.
Still, a new Sims game coming out doesn't make my wallet happy. xd Ya i'm feeling mixed emotions... sad To answer ya'lls question... yes. You will have to buy ALL NEW expansions for the sims 4 unfortunately. D:
I too invested HEAPS of money on the expansions for 3, and I'm a little miffed that they released the sims 4 so soon, but that's not gonna stop me. >.<

A Spoonful of Cinnamon I LOVE THE SIMS 3, TOO!!! I've got 4 on pre-order! XD I wish they made one like the very first one where theres like missions to complete. I loved playing that one on my gamecube because it was such a challenge. now its like, free play...... all the time.

The console versions tend(ed?) to have specific goals and missions to complete in the main game mode. The main PC versions have always been open ended and had no goals you're required to take any action on.

Starlight Minako is right. ^_^ The one I played on the PS2 (the first one released) had VERY specific goals to achieve... I remember!!! You wake up from this crazy dream that you're living in this super swanky mansion and you get freaky in a hot tub with this guy, then you wake up at your mom's (or is it an aunt?) house and start from there. I freakin' loved that game so much. D: I'd seriously buy a PS2 just to play that one game... (that and maybe crash bandicoot.... xD)

I think there were some goals? Correct me if I'm wrong - but all i know is, I can't help but use at least one cheat because when your sims keep having babies every hour and you end up with a family of 7, it gets super stressful. I don't even want my sims because otherwise i'll HAVE to use a cheat. I think it was hard for me on my gamecube in the first one too lol ^^
