Well they veiw those people as free loaders since they're not paying for a room.
So as of right now, my main options are
1. Not go on Friday and just hit the road really really early Saturday morning, as in between 2 and 5 AM so I can make the three plus hour drive up there and enjoy the convention all day Saturday.
2a. Go Friday and enjoy myself until I'm tired and sleep in my Jeep with it's reclining seats and with blankets covering me.
2b. " Statment same as above " and try to find some kind people who will let me stay with them for the night.
2c. " Ditto " and then crash in one of the all night video rooms where it would be nice and dark except for the video screen and the sound of the anime playing.
3 "Ditto ditto" and ignore being tired until the other get there, then crash as soon as we pay for the rooms and I get into them.

And yet they're not very nice to any of us paying for a room, either. Terrible customer service.
I would suggest simply not sleeping friday. =D

If anything I'll probably go up there Friday, enjoy the con, and then chill in the video room. Not fall asleep but rest in the darker ones. I'll be sure to wear and keep the deoderate fresh too.
What's sad is the fact that I have no local cons, at least not local anime related ones. The closest ones are at least three hours away north and south of where I'm at.

Not sure if there are any cons going on in my area any time soon... even if there was, I probably couldn't go 'cause of all the everyday crap I have to get done... confused ah well...

You could always check. And you never know, there may be one when you're not swamped.
And after some thinking, I believe I may be able to crash at somebody elses rooms. You meet the nicest people at convention and I do have a knack of becoming friends with people quickly.

No you're right. I doubt anything bad would happen to me, but you never know. Of course I think there's a better chance of something bad happening sleeping in the Jeep then any other option other then staying here on Friday.
The worse thing I can think of that can happen if I can room up with some random people at the con is that the hotel staff discovers it, and I'll just offer to pay my little bit for that.

Being prepared comes with being genre savvy hehe. Of course there are worse things that can happen but thats the most likely one. The next to most likely is finding myself spending the night in a room full of girls and their boyfriends the next room over find out and get pissed haha.

Altho, that would be the ultimate form of demise at an anime con... =O You'd be remembered forever, at least!
