*Luke fades in, leaning against the wall next to the bar.* Yeah... Yeah I know you said that already. *He sighs, agitated...and a little tired.* Christ...Why does it always have to b--
*He notices his surroundings and stops speaking. He looks down at his cell phone, dead as a doornail.* *Patting his lips, he clicks it shut.*
*Letting the phone drop into his pocket, he runs a hand through his hair and goes behind the bar.*
K. What's going on?

Yeah, it's pretty standard. *He hands it to K.* *smirks to him* You talk into one end. You hear out the other.
It gets pretty good service. Except in here of course.
*Luke catches K's smirk.* And yeah, go ahead and giggle about it all you want. But it's a big deal where I come from.

It's amazing how far technology goes. To someone like Maggie, this thing is a miracle, and to someone like me, it's like a cave painting.

I think if I had something like this...I would crazy. People wouldn't leave me alone if they could reach me all the time.

That's her alright. Yeah...she and I don't seem much like we're from the same planet, let alone share the same genetic material. But if there's anyone who can contact me at any moment, it's her...and I wouldn't mind.
