Kam0hee Jikoniau Today was way too long and tiring... I got all of 4.5 hours of sleep last night, and it was horrible. Plus I'm sick, so I was just miserable all day. Then at the end of the day I came and sat down for dinner right as my friends were leaving, and now I want to go to sleep but it's too early. If I sleep now then tomorrow will be a bad day as well.... and I''m behind in homework (/stresses)
Also, I apparently inadvertently agreed to go on a date with a friend of mine. As far as I thought about it we are just going skiing, doesn't seem like a date to me just someone who wanted company skiing. But my best friend and little sister are convinced it's a date.... until proven otherwise I intend to keep considering it as just an outing with a friend.
*hugs * I hope you feel better soon, Have you taken anything? I really hope tomorrow isnt a bad day and is a good day for you =[
as for the skiing thing, nah its not a date unless heh they say its a date as in the invitation is kind of like"Would like to go out on a date with me or will you?" kind of thing.
Anyway maybe take a nap and then do Homework?
Thanks kam <3 no I haven't taken anything, I'm at the dorms currently and didn't bring any sort of medicine with me. I do have tea though, so I probably will make some and it'll make me feel better. :3
I hope you're right about that, it's nice to get a guys input about it since I swear too many girls read into that sort of thing way too much. XD I'm getting an idea about how my friend views dates. I think she considers it a date if a guy and a girl plan something with just the two of them, which I think is just silly.

Foam-Dome No no, say the harsh thing. XD That's what I was expecting all along. ... D8 Alright then.
You shouldn't be so selfish, to be honest. I mean, It's easy to sit and wait for the world to fix things, but you have to seriously plan something, even if its something small. A small plan is better than no plan. If your mom does die, (I really hope that doesn't happen, by the way) then what? Can you say with 100% certainty that you know what to do? You can say that you know how to budget money; cook; shop for food, clothing, and other miscellaneous things; work; get a way to work; take care of your health (i.e. dental work or doctor appointments); pay bills, all on your own? Would you seek help if you don't know what to do? If not, then would be able to live without any outside help? Or, would you go over to someone's house and go back to waiting for the world it fix things?
The worst thing you could do is regret the fact that something could have been set in motion before it was too late. I'm sure it's easy for me to say that, because I'm not involved, but I would seriously consider something. At least, if something does happen, you'll be able to provide for yourself in some way. And, if you know everything, then don't worry about it.

And, if you know everything, then don't worry about it. Whenever I think about that kind of stuff (fairly often, by the way), I always say, "Eh. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it."
My flawed logic is, "I don't want to do it; therefore, I shouldn't have to." Like I said in the "What Do You Want To Be" thread, I just stick my head in the ground and hide from the imminent responsibilities that the world is going to impose upon me. I want to enjoy life, not spend my adulthood pouring countless hours into working. I despise the idea of working my a** off in school, just so I can work my a** off in an office, so I can make enough money to pay off my house and retire, at which point I'll be too old to enjoy life. But the thing is, I can't earn money unless I work. And as Divine once said, "In today's society, if you don't have money, you're either dead or good as."
And the saddest part?
Even though I fully realize all of this and the ensuing repercussions, I'm still unwilling to change.Silent Sympathy Foam-Dome Silent Sympathy Foam-Dome Nuh-uh, you lie! ;3; You're totally awesome. Even though I fully realize all of this and the ensuing repercussions, I'm still unwilling to change. Once again, we pretty much have the same thoughts there. (I'm not sure if I should be amazed, or creeped out... XD) You can still enjoy life, but it might not be the way you want it to be, at first. You may have to work for countless hours at first, but that doesn't mean that it'll be too late to do anything. (My nana and granddad are at least in their early 60's, and they've traveled at least three times to my knowledge, one of their trips was to Greece a few years ago. owo) The best example I can give you is me. I had to work hard during my high school years in order to maintain straight A's for the four years. After all of that was done, I was able to enjoy Otakon, and the rest of the summer. Last term, I had to work hard once again to make sure I didn't fail a single class. And this term, I'll work hard to make sure I don't fail a class. And, of course, next time, I'll be able to enjoy Otakon during the summer. Although this may seem small to you, its something I'm proud of. I don't enjoy working hard, but I feel better about working hard once I see that A on a report card.
But anyway. You should also try to hope for that special someone to help you along the way. Or were you already planning to be alone once you get down that road? And yes, most people need a lot of money in today's society, but that may change later on in the years. Life is a tricky thing. However, it's how you plan for the years to come, that you'll be able to enjoy it. And if you're unwilling to change, than so be it. It sounds like you're already planning to take the hard way, so there's nothing more to say on my end. Of course, others will worry about you, but there's nothing I can do. Well, unless I somehow get to your location. Then I could probably punch you. XD And knowing you, you'd punch me right back.

You know, I've always thought I was a lazy person, and that I would never find an activity that I would honestly have the drive to work hard on, all by myself. I felt like I would always have to be pressured into working hard.
But I just realized something.
Making Ninja Game Den (my blog) was my idea and nobody else's. My brother and my mom supported me and encouraged me, but it was originally just my idea. If I wanted to quit, ultimately nobody would stop me. Nobody is "grading" my material, so I could just half-a** my posts if I wanted.
But I haven't. I've made sure that every week for the past month my posts have had quality content. Nobody has been checking up on me to make sure I do it, I just do it. I actually have the drive to do it, and that drive has persisted for a month now (actually it'll have been a month by tomorrow).
I don't think I've ever had this much of a drive to do anything before.
...I think this is a sign.

I wanna live in Texas. emo I feel much the same way when people from warmer climates complain about snow. I'm not too sure how much is currently on the ground, aside from an inch of ice on the drive. And we're preparing for what is probably the worst blizzard since the Blizzard of '67. Yet, it's just normal life for us Northerners. And they complain about a few inches. Ha!
