Icarus nodded some and sighed. "Sadly they don't know how much I can fight. I will never hand myself over willingly to anyone. Especially not these incredulous leeches. I might have to toast them." she said, smirking some.

Jethrow shook his head. "They wouldn't attack you. I know their plan... And it's my fault." [OOC:] I just figured out their plan and I'm debating over whether Icarus should hear it now or not.

Icarus was curious on what he meant. Why wouldn't they go after her? Would they go after the others? That wouldn't be fair! That's such a cheap shot! But she looked back to the vampire. "What's their plan? And stop saying it's your fault or I swear I will headslap you."

Jethrow didn't say anything for a few long moments, before letting go of her sadly. "I shouldn't have told you to go to town that night."

Icarus looked to Jethrow confused. "What do you mean? You mean they were watching me or something?" she asked. This was all so confusing.

He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to figure out how to explain this to her. "So, when a vampire drinks from someone, they take away blood but they leave a sort of... Signature behind. It's like a mark. Other vampires can identify it, and they know when to steer clear of regular feeders because the signature will be stronger. When you left here, they caught the signature on you, and because they know who I am, they know where to find you. It's my fault."

Icarus listened and nodded some, understanding the situation. The she smacked Jethrow upside the head. "I said don't say that." she said shortly before sighing. She then rubbed her head a little. Such a headache coming on.

Jethrow rubbed his head and stared at the floor. That wasn't the plan, was the problem. The real plan was that... Well, they expected Jethrow to eventually walk her into their hands.

Icarus sighed and rubbed her head more. It was beginning to throb and her eyes were beginning to hurt. "Well... Since they already know both of us are here, you might as well just bite me again. All this is making my head start to throb. Think my blood's building pressure."

Jethrow sighed, but didn't say anything else. He put his hands on her shoulders and leaned in, biting her softly. He still felt incredibly guilty and he knew that the last thing he should do was make the signature stronger, but if she was getting a headache her blood vessels would start popping soon.

Icarus barely flinched as he bit her once more. She was getting used to this kind of thing. So she let him drink until he was full and once he let go and healed the bite, she pat him on the shoulder some. "Get some rest, alright? Impending invaders or not, you should still go to class." she said before laughing some. "Says the hypocrite."

Jethrow laughed and ruffled Icarus' now white hair. "Just a warning, if you drag me out of bed again, you'll be spending the day with Sarah."

Icarus straightened her hair, laughing. "Says the vampire who was such a teddy bear this morning." she said, smiling. But she soon sighed. She was tired and it was settling into her being. "I should be getting to bed. But since you shared your little secret with me, I'll share one with you." Icarus said, leaning up to whisper into Jethrow's ear. "This is my natural hair color. Tell anyone and you die." she whispered the leaving before Jethrow could get a retort in.

Jethrow rolled his eyes at the teddy bear comment, but chose not to retort to that. When Icarus leaned in and whispered in his ear, though, he froze. If he'd had a beating heart, it would have started to race, and when she was gone, he staggered back a bit. She's messing with my head, he decided

Icarus headed back to her room, humming to herself rather pleasedly. She bet if his actually had a heart, it'd be going a mile a minute right now. She kind of liked teasing Jethrow. Maybe there was also nothing to worry about these other vampires. Maybe it'd all blow over. The bird shrugged some and made sure the dragons were inside for the night before closing her window. She then headed over to her bed and laid down, going to sleep quickly.
