Okay ^^ as long as you know it isn't a bad thing *pats and hands a twinkie*

I like it, the mental image of all the students jumping up and down is a good one ^^

You may want to break it up into a few paragraphs just with the talk to make it a little easier reading wise XD but that's about it.

Ahhh...AP English, how I do not miss you >.>

^^ No need to indent though, given Gaia doesn't really like doing so...pain in the butt *grumbles*

gaia doesn't, does it. stupid website. but the spaces between paragraphs makes it look like so much less to read sometimes...

AP english...i hated/loved that class. actually i hated the teacher, and loved the class. or did i hate them both? oh well. heart of darkness was fun-ish....though too short.

I think it makes it look easier to read ^^ but that's just me.

Yeah...AP classes are usually like that. But what can ya do XD?

take as many of them as possible, because you know they are worth it during the summer time (after any applicable summer homework). then during the school year when you have to read 400 pages in a night, you kick yourself.

but i'm a college student now. now i get to worry about bad food and financial issues.

i think i miss the homework.

I took almost my entire senior year AP classes...I'm glad now I did ^^ helped me pass my generals and get my AA faster.

>.> but I wouldn't trade ANYTHING to be able to go back to high school. give me being broke and working for money any day over THAT particular bundle of fun.

the issue is mainly my failure to this day to find work. if i had income, it would all be good, and i wouldn't look back.

nevermind.

I here you there, I spent almost a whole year looking, and then had to take jobs that were completely horrible on every level T.T

I wish you luck on it, especially in California XD

pan's cali

I'm Oregon. 16% unemployment here, and it only includes people who are in state funded job search programs, which means it is actually more than 16% unemployed.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 30, 2010 12:35 am

Ooooh oregon, I've always wanted to go there.

The trick is to set up like 5 applications every day and call people like a crazy person >.> at least that's what i had to do ^^;

call people like a crazy person...how is this done? is there a propper method? or do you just dial, and then blow words out and hope they mean something? i don't know how to get a job mizu-sama! i have never done it before...at 19....i am so lame! *slams head into tables then has nervous breakdown.*
PostPosted: Mon Aug 30, 2010 12:47 am

Nah XD

You send in your resume and then generally call in that day and ask to talk to the HR or hiring manager. Say your name is Aria(or whatever >.>) and that you just put in an application and was wondering what the hiring status looks like. Be very polite and not pushy, just let them get to know you.

Then call them about once a week and say your just checking in. Just keep in touch and be personable ^^

though that means i need to stop finishing applications at 3 am. or do the calling the next day.
