Malik's sword felt the nice barrier that prevent intrusions of that nature.
"D'vinn." Sstrl looked at the list. "Not here."
Elric looked about the gathered group, and focussed on Piper and Aella, the least repugnent of the group. "We are not allowed to allow agents of the Demi-Lich to entre. You yourself, D'vinn, just claimed to be such. Why should we let our enemy into our gates?"
"He hasss a point." Sstrl pointed at Elric.
"Your threats will only decrease the willingness of this guard to let you in. SHould you force your way past both walls and whatever lay between them, you should still find yourself locked out of a castle with no doors. You best present yourself in a fasion that at least indicates you are not trying to merely get near the Oracle to kill her. I am not conviced you are not thinking about the taste of her blood at this very moment. If you wait here, The Captain will be around shortly. He'll test your valour and decide if you are allowed in."
"He will be?" Sstrl asked Elric.
"Maybe." Replied the elf.
"I don't think he wantsss to wait that long. I could go get the Commander and sssssee if he will let them in."
"I doubt that after he hears about D'vinn's promise to act as an informant to the Demi-Lich."
"Thatsss true."
To the south east, the form of a flying dragon appeared and quickly grew as the Bronze Dragon approached.
"Oh, what good fortune for you D'vinn." Elric's expression did not change.

She sighed. "This is all very troublesome. I do hope things run smoothly." She rested her hands on top of her staff, leaning into it. "Is what I'd like to be hopeing, because it doesn't seem to be going that way."
Fat? it's just apple! And you don't feed me enough. He jumped on Piper's shoulder, nuzzled her check in thanks, and dashed off to onyx;s shoulder. I'd better watch you. You're gonna get in trouble, aren't you?

"At present, I have a strictly buisness relationship with the enemy. I buy slaves, that he supplies in the form of those souless things. which I in turn take to study and use as I see fit. You, Koada'dal...have no idea what you're playing with. I do. not only do I know the true name, and have in my possession at present offspring of said enemy, but I have probably the only real effective weapon agasint him."
A glance at Sstrl.
"You make valid points, and I do see the logic behind them. but if you want those fields burned down, I want to see the Oracle. if you refuse, then you can deal with the tides of unfeeling souless that will swarm even a place like this like ants."
Onyx grinned lightly.
"You know, I think that's as close to a 'I'm sorry, I was out of line' that I've ever heard come out of his mouth."
Inching a little closer to whirlwind, kind of temtped to put an arm about her shoulders a bit.
"And I'm not going to get into trouble morelle. Malik is."

Nym was plucked off and dropped to teh ground. "Great...now we're the bad guys." Nice going Malik...how many times did she have to tell him that threats weren't always the best solution and that he couldn't bully everyone into compliance? Why wouldn't he just listen and give it a try...and now they would have to deal with Tarathiel who no doubt would irritate further with his 'eviler than thou' thing the drow seemed to be on. This day just got worse and worse. Okay, now she could rub at her temples, which she did. "Ay heru..." A look to Onyx. "He actually knows the word and the meaning he just forgets them." And him trying to appeal the situation wasn't that too grand either...that's it...if she had to beat the PR skills into him she would. Oh just wait Malik, just wait...

"I think this fortress should indicate the Captain's faith in your ability to defeat this enemy." Elric replied.
Sstrl went quite and merely watched the dragon descend right beside Malik's party. The lone figure on its back walked up the dragon's neck which moved to the wall.
The drow hoped over to the guards. "What's up?"
"They want in."
"Do they have an appointment?"
"No, they do not."
"Did they try to make one?"
"Not really, they demand to see her now."
"What if she is busy with another guest?"
"They don't seem to care."
"Oh." Tarathiel turned his head and looked at Aella imediately. "What are you doing here?" He asked in a very curious tone. His face was wraped with white bandages which were now rather soaked with blood.

She shrugged. "My job was to make sure Malik did his part in going after the Lich. Apparently, that emans commign here first. So that means my job was to escort them." She frowned. "And what are you doing getting yourself all bloodied? Ma would through a fit of you tracked anything in her new castle." She glanced at Onyx.
Din blinked. "Offspring?" His houlders slumped. "That makes me sound like a rat. I'm sure there could have been a nice way to say it."
Morelle rubbed his forehead against Onyx's cheek again. It'll turn on you. just watch.

"Orko, make the Oracle Spot light and allow these folk to see her." Tarathiel said and waved his hand.
The Wizard appeared outside the caslte, drew circle and a star said a few words ,and poof. The image of the ORacle was projected from her room to outside the castle.
"Play nice."
Tarathiel left the gate.

That got a raised brow. well well. seemed something had given Kimmuriel a bit of a beating.
"well. seems my home wasn't the only thing to take a beating today, Kimmuriel. I have questions that need answers. and I'm sure they will apply to this wonderful built doorless dwarven workshop of yours as well. Not to mention one of the party here is a relation to both the Oracle and the Demi-Lich."
A glance at Piper, and a small frown about it. she wasn't happy.
"You want the corn fields laid to waste, and I need the answers to get it done in the quickest and most effective way possible. And we're wasting time sitting here debating about it."
Well. finally some results. Malik smirked lightly.
"He takes your defense way too seriously. if I didn't know better..or perhaps it is closer to the truth, I'd say he's a bit 'infactuated' with you, Oracle. Well. first things first. Oracle, meet Din. he's Dimitri's boy. wanted to find you."
Then he held up the collar form the morning's little annoyance.
"And we really need to discuss this, and how a bunch of rabble rousing orcs and kobolds got thier hands on a legion of them."

A sideglance to Din. "Oh believe me, that was the nice word. He could of chosen a variety of things. Wretched seed, whelp, mutt....believe me, that's his nice term." She shook her head again. Yes her mood had gone south...probably feeding off of Malik's own. Though as she set her hands on her hips she looked to Malik. "It's not that hard to burn something down and then bless it..." She was really talking to herself at this point, letting Malik ask his questions.
Okay Sevilin was a bit interested now. He had stayed quiet since the beginning, but that's what he liked to do, observe. So that was Tarathiel, and that was the Oracle. Hm...drow playing protector over a humen...what was the Underdark coming too...then again, she was an Oracle.A brief look to NYm who was climbing up his braid to his shoulder at this point.

She seemed to be sitting in a high backed chair, it was sometimes hard to tell as the image of her faded in and out. Her arms were rossed, her legs were crossed, and one foot was kicking the air. She didn't seem happy.
"Leave your musings as they are supposed to be, Tier'Dal; quiet. As it is, I am not impressed with your ignorant behaviour." A glance at Din. "I beg your pardon, Second Mage. I must deal with this first."
Din bowed. "Take all the time you need, Oracle One Hundred." He leaned over and whispered to piper. "At least 'mutt' doesn't amke me sound like an insect. Some mutts are part wolf you know."
She nodded. "Thank you, sir."
"Piper is correct. Melt some metal, bless it with darkness. There you go, an effective defense gainst a light shield."

"Don't test me, Oracle. and don't play off things. first, it wasn't just a light shield. a light shield, a fear shield, and a heat shield were in place. none of them even so much a rippled the air when they came through it. and blessing or not, the power of the creator does affect the ability of others to counter it. so unless there's some orc with more mystical power than Roarke roaming around, this wasn't something they made. it was something they were given."
His eyes narrowed a bit.
"That means either a Drow, or our Demi-Liched freind gave them to them. if it's a drow, then Tarathiel has either set me up, or is unaware I woudl hope of someone trying to put me out of the picture. if it's the Lich, then chances are he knows what's going on and is about to start mobilizing his forces. either answer affects my ability to bring forces out of my home, adn thus do my appointed task in this little game."
"I also am in need to know the survivablity odds on those presently with me. I don't need to bring with me those who will be dead in a small matter of time. I need some that can stand to wage a seige if need be. Which brings me to the last thing I woudl be very interested to know."
"My proffesion, does it exist here. are there others that can be trained easily in my styles of fighting and magics and be of use, or are my abilities completely forgien to this realm. If they are, that gives me an advantage in combat. if not, then I should know as to not hold back on things hoping to surprise my enemy."
Onyx grinned lightly at Din.
"and mutts are lovable. like that movies that Nailah and Aura liked..Old Yeller. good film. I miss that about this place. not alot technologywise like the plane we're from."

A slight softer look to Din. Perhaps it was that he looked very much the human child...well...child by elvish standards...anyway.. "You do have a point there Din. But like I said could of been worse...his PR sorely lacks...I apologize for him." Wasn't she always doing that? Something that become second nature to her really. A look at Meilikki as she pretty much repremanded Malik...adn then her look floated back to Malik and his attitude. Wait a minute, now he was thinking they we're good enough to fight too? Was that what he was getting at. Sure...the thoughts were mostly irrational on her part...but she just couldn't help it...was overly pissy.
Those particular two things irritated Sevilin. First off...Sevilin had thought he had already proved his efficency as a killing machine. And there Malik was, questioning on that very thing. Sevilin was in all truth born and bred for the purpose of facing wave after wave.
Secondly...he was a rune mage. Malik was already one upped on his enemies, seeing as Andallian runes were immune to anything but other Andallian rune mages. Made Sevilin look a bit useless...or worse, nothing but a trainer to some second rate priestess who seemed to be a bit bipolar from his observations.
Or Malik had some third alterior motive for him. That made ruby eyes narrow some.

"Don't test you? You want you want you want. And yet how little you give. You ask question then you are going to accept the answers I give. Especailly since you are not providing me with anything in return. Do not undersetimate the power of a god, Tier'Dal. Even Grummsh can surpas Roarke. If it was Dimitri, I would not know it. And since my visions come form the Earth mother, then I would not know if it was Grummsh either. I'm afraid you will be left to figure out that attack on your own."
"This is a war against the undead. I have no knowledge of those who, you would take with you. Again, you are beyond my help."
"Shadow Knights here are few and far between."
"But I don't see why you should listen to me. You might very well be the one to cause this plane's distruction, Tier'Dal. Not the hooded man."
Din swallowed. Even though he was Meilikki's superior, she was frightening him. "When she gets mad...does her eyebrow twitch? Eca's did. When it did, I used to run." He couldn't see through the fog of the illusion if her brow was moving or not.

"Very well. I can accept an orcish diety. but how can you not know who I am taking with me? I told you whom, you're looking at them. Onyx and his twin, Piper, Sevilin, Zahara. the only one in this group you do not know is Sevilin, and while his power and skill are worth his praise from Piper's father, I was not entirely sure how a rune mage woudl stack to a Demi-god Lich."
A slight smirk.
"And yes, I want I want. your precious Kimmuriel is not leading this assault, I am. Kimmuriel will probably not face the first retaliation, I will. And I want to make damned sure I can survive a return strike, by knowing when I do hit, it will be a crippling blow to his ability to bring forces agasint me. with those present, I know that will be the case, if they can all survive the conflict. slaves I can get in mass. like cannon fodder. it is my elite, the specialists, the generals and commanders, that are of value to me."
"And you help already with the first question. by saying out of the three options, two you would not know, then I know that it was not a Drow. As for this plane's destruction. I won't be the cause of that. you worry far to much. the Andalian portal doesn't tear at this plane, and I have no intention of inviting other planar guests but perhaps two. and only because thier children are here."
"Hey, don't bring me into this."
Onyx put his hands up in the universal 'not me' gesture. his wings twithcing abit, hiding behind Whirlwind some.
"Not my idea, not my fault."

"Malik would you just stop being so insistant on information you can't have? She can't see us because we get directly involved, we enter into his realm so to speak. You wouldn't normally have an Oracle when goign into battles back in Norrath, even on the plane we met upon. You're just trying to push the resource you have....and you can't use her like that Malik. Leave it at that and let's go already." Well...that was direct. A look over to the image of Meilikki. "I apologize for him and for your time. Thank you for the answers that you could indeed provide." That said she turned on her heel and started back down the path that Aella had led them down.
Sevilin blinked. Did the little surface elf just in essence blow up to a degree. Seemed someone was not a happy elf...oddly enough, or perhaps not, he found joy in that little fact. Maybe she'd go do something stupid and maim herself. That would be a good laugh. But he watched after her for a second before turning his attention back to the group. "Well...."
