But if she was truly lovey for him, then she wouldn't be the evil cold hearted chick she is.
And then she wouldn't wanna destroy the town because she would do anything Artie said.
And then no interesting bad guy would exist.

While they will warn you, they will chase you seriously with the intent of taking the rod, after all, they will prioritize Artie's safety over Amos's safety.
