Whatsit's making me sweat now sweatdrop
Menewsha is an island..part of a chain that's a long way out from the mainland, so it's a little backward technology wise.
If it was going to be on another planet or something similar, it would have to have been like that from the start. We're developing a storyline now though, and working on background history and so on.
But i don't suppose it's ever going to be different enough to appeal to the good Doctor sad

I'm glad it's beginning to develop it's own identity.
I still doubt I'll join because Gaia is keeping me busy enough. I just made a Bebo account today, but I probably wouldn't have bothered if not for that OMGaia App you can earn exclusive items through. Bebo Profiles do have a cool whiteboard that is very easy to draw on, though, & I like that. I also adopted a puppydog that is hilarious to play with--throw a ball & he springs around yelping like a virtual Jack Russell Terrier! lol
Once my Spring classes get busy though, I'll barely have time to peek in here now & then.

I'll try to sneak in on the campus computers & at least get Eirwyn through her guilds. They have much faster computers there than mine is. smile
For my first Graphics Design class, I'm gonna have to learn how to use a Mac! I've never even touched anything but Windows before, but the fancy design computers are all new state-of-the-art Macs with Adobe InDesign on them. We are NOT allowed to waste processing power going online with them, though. For that I'll go to the school library.

I hope you enjoy the Mac experience. I have no option but to use Windows at work, but have always had a Mac at home. *pets MacBook* cool

My GRA151 instructor let us know up front she flat-out hates Windows & doesn't want anything to do with it or to hear anything about it. rolleyes
The class I am dreading the most is the Public Speaking class we were required to take in my curriculum. :X My advisor teaches it--he is a nut case! lol Hopefully that will make it easier. He brags that in 15 years no one has ever failed his class(though he hastens to add that this doesn't mean he WOULDN'T if he got a slacker). He tries very hard to get us comfortable with the group & the class, and he usually does it with crazy humor. It's kind of like having a somewhat less manic Robin Williams teaching us sometimes.

Every class day he greets me by name (since he's my advisor), & so far every time he observes, "You don't look excited to be here!" I think this is because he knows I loathe and dread speaking. gonk I made it pretty dead clear the day he informed me I had to take a speaking class.

Eirwyn, where did (or does…) the Tama (bamboo grove) come from? It's never listed for sale in the Market. I feel like I'm missing something obvious… lol

The Tama (red panda) comes from the Tama's Basket. You end up with a cool panda & a bamboo grove & a spear too as two transformation positions in final stage! biggrin
